External Door frames
When door franes are fiLLed Lo a douule urick siLuaLion, Lhe frane will require a caviLy flashinq Lo conceal Lhe
cavity. The cavity flashing is pre-welded to the door frame.
The cavity flashing can be fitted either at the opposite side of the hinge or at the same side of the hinge.
BGC Steel can determine this if you provide the following information:
a. is the frame on the external or internal leaf?
b. is the frame opening into the building or
away from the building?
c. is the frame left or right hand?
