At Intopii, I was responsible for a large
part of Defectguard's innovative product
design which enables customers to install,
ramp-up, and use the system all by
themselves quite unprecedented in the
world of machine vision systems. Among
other things I

touch-sensitive display. I designed chassis for these which,

was easy to position in production facilities since it had


e-tremely small footprint and slee" form, than"s to clever
layout of bul"y ./ components,

was nice to operate due to ergonomically positioned


touchscreen and optional "eyboard,

had all components, including rac" server interior, directly


accessible through the front door for easy service no
disassembly required.

in developing e-traordinary touchscreen and motion
control technologies for a revolutionary mobile phone,
)ydevice. 3or e-ample, I

developed all fundamental signal conditioning and


touch recognition algorithms for the force sensor-
based touchscreen technology, .aptitouch,

developed several fundamental algorithms for the


accelerometer-based motion control technology,
Iris,

developed and demonstrated alternative motion


control technologies using optical sensors. A
patent was later awarded for one of the ideas.

based visual trac"ing system for mobile service robots as my
master's thesis. &he thesis was selected as the best )aster's

e-ecuting an e-haustive literature research on related


computer vision techniques,

applying real-time color-based visual trac"ing methods to the


needs of mobile service robots, and

designing the vision system, cabable of trac"ing multiple


ob6ects simultaneously, and implementing it using 7$$.
