Devote Yourselves To Prayer - Colossians 4.2

 A Theologica planning/development meeting will take place this Tuesday. Please ask for
wisdom, safe travel, and a fruitful time of decision making.  Thank the Lord for some new
students who are taking our current courses. May the Lord bless them as they learn how to bring
glory to Christ in their lives through the practice of God’s Word.  Pray that the knowledge of
Jesus Christ spread in our church neighbourhood among those who are not saved in Marpole,
especially as we participate in the Marpole Summer Fest this coming weekend.  Meditating upon
the Lord’s precepts is something that we all should desire to do, but often we find that it is also
something that is easy to neglect in our lives. Seek out the Lord asking that He might cause us to
be more diligent in this aspect of being true disciples of Jesus Christ.

MINISTRY ANNOUNCEMENTS & OPPORTUNITIES

Marpole Summerfest - will take place this coming Saturday July 11, between
11am-3pm. This will be this month’s outreach into our community. Please meet
near our booth along Granville Street near West 67th Avenue.
Servants
Needed - for hosting Agape Dinners at your home; drivers; bulletin preparation
(must have computer and interest with graphics). We will provide some training
if you need.
Congregational Update Meeting - will be on Sunday July 19th right after our
worship service.
Refreshments - are served after worship. Please stay and greet one
another.
