Northeast Florida Builders Association Endorses Paul Renner for Florida House

Jacksonville, Fla. Republican candidate Paul Renner today announced that the Northeast Florida
Builders Association (NEFBA) has endorsed him in his bid for Florida House District 15, which
includes the western part of Jacksonville.

We, at the Northeast Florida Builders Association, have chosen to endorse Paul Renner as our
candidate for the Florida House of Representatives, District 15, said Curtis Hart, Political Action
Committee chairman for the NEFBA. We share in Pauls goal to expand upon opportunities and
increase good paying jobs in our region.

I thank the Northeast Florida Builders Association for trusting in me and supporting my campaign for
House District 15, said Renner. The construction industry is a key component of our economy here in
Jacksonville, and I pledge to protect our businesses and residents by strengthening our economy,
stimulating job growth and reducing government waste and over regulation.

Since launching his campaign to represent Florida House District 15, Renner has received the
endorsements of numerous conservative leaders and organizations, including U.S. Congressman Ron
DeSantis (R-FL), State Senator John Thrasher (R-St. Augustine), Representative Daniel Davis (R-
Jacksonville), Jacksonville Sheriff John Rutherford, the Associated Industries of Florida, JAXBIZ, and
the Florida Medical Association, to name a few.

Renner was raised in Jacksonville and is a graduate of Davidson College and the University of Florida,
Levin College of Law. He served 23-years in the US Navy on both active duty and in the reserves,
including deployments in support of combat operations during Operation Desert Storm in 1991 and in
Afghanistan in 2011. His personal awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Navy
Commendation Medal and Navy Achievement Medal, among others. He also served as an assistant state
attorney, earning a strong reputation for his successful efforts to prosecute serious felony offenses.

Renner is an attorney and partner at Milam Howard Nicandri Dees and Gillam, P.A., where he
represents many local businesses. He is active in the community and has served as President of the
Jacksonville Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society and as General Counsel to the Duval County
Republican Party. He also participates in a number of civic and professional organizations, including
his Rotary and the Westside Business Leaders Association. Paul attends Southpoint Community
Church and he and his wife reside on the Westside.
