ACCOMPLISHMENTS

M & A + SEC/IPO TRANSACTIONS: Logistical software industry - negotiated a 13x NI valuation
with 98% yield through the Due Diligence (DD) by $18 billion buyer. Amusement Park &
Photography Industry achieved 21x NI based on remaining contract value with 96% payout after
DD. Lifestyle Industry 18x NI with 90% payout after DD. Achieved successful $12MM IPO for
$60 million technology manufacturer. Two years of 10Q/Ks for a logistical software company.


VENDOR MANAGEMENT: Restructured insurance requirements that saved $320M/year.
Developed an Asset Recovery offering that added $200M/year in gross margin. Set up GPO saving
$135M/year in operating expense. Negotiated additional $85M in landlord build-out reimbursement.
Signed a retail chain to an $80MM website that resulted in a 22% revenue increase. Directed major
corporate purchases (e.g., telecommunications = $180M in annual savings). Negotiated higher
Medicaid pay-outs with HMOs that added $140M/year in gross margin.


SYSTEM DESIGN & IMPLEMENTATION: Designed and implemented systems for inventory,
warranty, MC/VISA and a new marketing program (increasing annual net income by $5MM). Within
three months installed a new MRP system (Third Shift). Conversion from Oracle to Solomon,
including FRx reports to reflect cross functional P & Ls by geographic location. Built an inventory
management system to reduce obsolescence and excess inventory, along with a new Accounts Payable
process that together provided annual savings of $140-220M. Implemented Quickbooks Enterprise for
12 assisted living facilities along with training 12 business managers as first time users, as well as at
Live Nation for reporting merchandise royalties to 52 artists on 2-300 concerts each year. Did two
month MAS90 MRP implementation for a $60MM technology manufacturer and while at Rohm &
Hass implemented an MRP system with a precious metals strategy that added $480M to gross profit.
Implemented semi-annual gain sharing for 400 employees based on budget vs. actual performance.


GOVERNMENT and TAX STRATEGIES: Set up a Venezuelan subsidiary to save $125M in annual
taxes (VAT & Income). Successful $200M+ State grant to reduce cost of MRP/ESL/technical training
initiatives. Obtained $25MM in HUD sponsored mortgages allowing a 4:1 leverage on outside equity.
Successfully submitted Assisted Living operating license requests and handled all responses.
