JOINT STIPULATION OF DISMISSAL WITH PREJUDICE

WHEREAS, in response to the reexamination of U.S. Patent No. 5,251,294, Plaintiffs
Marie Claire/Hearst and The Hearst Corporation (collectively Hearst) and Defendants
Webvention LLC and Webvention Holdings LLC (collectively Webvention) seek to
voluntarily dismiss their claims with prejudice and, in order to fully terminate this litigation
against, Hearst and Webvention hereby jointly stipulate to the following:
1. Pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 41, Hearst hereby dismisses with prejudice all claims
that were asserted against Webvention in this action.
2. Pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 41, Webvention hereby dismisses with prejudice all
counterclaims that were asserted or could have been asserted against Hearst in this
action.
3. Each party will bear its own attorneys fees, expenses, and costs.
