The Program in General Management is a 1 year, weekend only, program that prepares students for the Diploma for
Graduates in Management Qualification offered by the University of London International Programmes with academic
direction from London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE)*. The in-depth and well designed curriculum
is taught in India by industry executives who have had a solid professional career and top academic pedigree from
institutions in India and outside. This has been supplemented with materials from Harvard Business School (case studies)
and strengthened with advanced problem solving techniques from companies like McKinsey & GE. The curriculum for

On successful completion of program, participants receive the Diploma for Graduates in Management from the
University of London with London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE)* as the lead college for the program.
The qualification brings with it, significant reputation and international acceptance, mainly based on the following:
LSE is responsible for the academic direction for the programme. Tis means that LSE academics and administrative
staf develop syllabuses, write subject guides, develop online learning opportunities and materials, advise teaching
institutions and prepare and mark examinations. As University of London International Programmes participant you

Mentorship
After spending more than 17 years in the industry across
several top Indian companies and MNCs, I was not sure about
being able to go back to classroom and learn in a structured

RAKESH GUPTA

Rakesh Gupta heads corporate partnerships for Northwest and is responsible for building
and managing key relationships with industry across sectors. He has over 25 years of domain
experience in CRM and Tech support in the Telecom and IT industry. He was VP and Global
CRM Solutions Leader at IBM Global Process Services for over 9 years and also spent a year at
IBM Australia as a sales leader.
KANIKA SINGAL

Kanika Singal is currently a Director with the Corporate Executive Board, where she is part
of the India Leadership team. An architect turned business strategist, she has spent 10 years,
working across the world, with leading companies on their new business development, growth,
marketing and strategy issues, with some of the leading organizations in the world, including
McKinsey and Co and Levis Strauss.
I came from a strong technical background in aircraft maintenance
at Go Air and wanted to shift to mainstream management. I joined
the Northwest Executive Education London Program and the

In the case of undergraduate courses in Economics, Management, Finance and the Social
Sciences (EMFSS), academic direction is provided by the London School of Economics and
Political Science (LSE). LSE is a small specialist university with an international intake and
a global reach. Its research and teaching span the full breadth of the social sciences, from
economics, politics and law to sociology, anthropology, accounting and finance. Founded in
1895 by Beatrice and Sidney Webb, LSE has an outstanding reputation not only for academic
excellence, but also for extensive engagement with the worlds of government, policymaking
and business.

Upon successful completion of their studies, students are awarded a University of London
degree or diploma. Although the standards of these awards are maintained at the same
level as the standards of awards made to students studying at LSE, the awards are distinct
from degrees or other qualifications awarded by LSE. The certificate that students receive
following graduation will state that the student was registered with the University of London
and awarded a University of London degree or diploma. It will also state that examinations
were conducted by LSE.
