About The University:

Jaipur National University, Jaipur established by the Government of Rajasthan, vide Act No.
5 of 2008, aims to meet the demands of knowledge and learning of life-skills with a

School of Engineering & Technology:
The School of Engineering and Technology offers B. Tech., M. Tech. and Ph.D.
programmes in the disciplines of Electronics & Communication and Computer Science
Engineering. The School also offers B. Tech. in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Information
Technology, Bio-Tech, Food Technology and Chemical Engineering. The Curricula have
been formulated by eminent academicians drawing industry inputs. The School is marching
forward to realize its vision of transforming the students as efficient, innovative and
professionally competent engineer to contribute to the development of society.





Objectives of Seminar:

The basic objective of the seminar is to explore the Recent Trendsin VLSI andEmbedded
Systems which is the key force behind the technological developments. During the last
decade the enormous growth in the field, demand from industry, public and private sectors
has made this core area of electronics engineering more challenging. The seminar aim to
provide common platform for interaction between academician's, professionals, research
scholars and persons engaged in constructive exposure advancement in the field of VLSI
and Embedded System. It would explore ideas and suggestions which speed up the pace of
developments in emerging field. The main objectives may be briefly summed up as
follows:-
1. To update the knowledge of the Masters & Doctoral Research scholars and
faculty from Engineering, Sciences in VLSI and Embedded process and its
implementations.
2. To provide a platform for discussion on new areas, opportunity to share
experience by close interaction with eminent speakers and enhance the
confidence of the participants to perform their research work with greater
efficiency in
o Embedded software for Real time application
o Parallel processing technology
o System engineering, integration
o General purpose microprocessors
o CMOS fabrication technology
o Design and development of VLSI chips & SOC development processor
related technology
o System software development for custom made processors
o Embedded software for real time application
o FPGA and DSP based implementation
o System design using HDL.
Eligibility:
B.Tech. Masters, Research scholars, Industrial Participants and the faculty members of
Science &Engineering are eligible to attend the seminar.
Call for Papers:

Researchers and Participants are requested to submit full length paper in MS-Word (IEEE
format) through e-mail(nsrtves.2014@jnujaipur.ac.in) on or before the due date. The title of
the paper should be followed by author(s) name, affiliation.. The guidelines for the
submission of full length papers are available on seminar website.

Submission of Paper : September 10, 2014
Intimation of Acceptance : September 26, 2014
Last date of Registration : September 30, 2014
Submission of Camera Ready Paper : October 9, 2014
Each paper shall be evaluated by a panel of experts for technical merit and clarity of
presentation. Good quality submissions will only be accepted. Author(s) can submit at least
one paper not more than two from same group or any other group. Candidates will be
intimated about their selection by E-mail.
Note: Certificate will be issued to the participants at the end of seminar.
