2001, Aviation Australia has been providing genuine
world class training for aircraft engineers and cabin
crew for Australian and International markets with

Youll train in an impressive, modern facility located
within the operational precinct of the Brisbane
International and Domestic Airport, so from the

any time. The sub-tropical climate has average
temperatures ranging between 14 and 30 degrees

When you choose to train with Aviation Australia,
youre not signing up to spend your time in sterile
classrooms remote from the real world of aviation.
Our facility lies within the boundaries of the busy
Brisbane International and Domestic Airport, so youre
learning on the tarmac in the sort of surroundings in
which youll ultimately work.
If youre studying Aircraft Engineering, in our main
hangar and out on the tarmac youll nd an extensive
eet of operational xed and rotary-wing aircraft.

In other words youll be working with aircraft of all
types in service around the world, making the knowledge
and skills you gain immediately valuable

Youll become familiar with every aspect of aircraft
maintenance, from the basic procedure of accessing
stores for tools and parts and the fundamentals of
building an airfoil section, to working with exotic
materials like carbon bre and mastering the complexities
of modern avionics.

MECHANICAL (B1)

Mechanical Engineering students gain the skills to
maintain jet engines, complex aircraft systems and
electrical systems (including antiskid braking and
undercarriage), cabin pressurisation, fuel and pneumatic
components, ight controls, hydraulics and more.

The Avionics Diploma suits students with an interest in
computers, electronics and electrical control systems
who are keen to learn how to inspect and maintain
complex electronic systems within an aircraft. Aircraft
avionics computer systems are some of the most
technologically advanced in the world and every new
aircraft type brings with it cutting edge technology such
as y-by-wire, y-by-light and even articial intelligence.

WHEN YOU GRADUATE
Successful graduates receive a formal Australian
academic qualication certicate: Diploma of Aircraft
Maintenance Engineering (or Dual Diploma of Aircraft
Maintenance Engineering) with transcripts of academic
results.
Our EASA Part 147 Program consists of:
Part 147 theory delivery hours
Part 147 practical delivery and assessments
Part 147 EASA approved OJT (B1 or B2)
A transcript of results that species the successfully
completed EASA Part 66 examinations achieved during
this course of study will be issued.

Australia is an English speaking country and a
reasonable command of English is one of the entry
requirements for Aviation Australia courses.
Set up to meet the demands for our business to
business clients, our in-house English Language Centre
can help lift English speaking abilities to new heights.
Courses are based on a proven curriculum of Core
English with a focus on Aviation technical language.
The Core English provides a solid foundation for
developing a students reading, writing, listening and
speaking skills, and increases a students ability to use
English as a Second Language. The additional Aviation
English training is uniquely and specically designed
for learners of English who are involved in the Aviation
industry, be it Cabin Crew or Aircraft Maintenance.
