Job Description Refining and Petrochemical process design working as a
member of a team on the preparation of UOPs world class basic engineering design
package, the Schedule A, for UOPs worldwide customers.

The work involves process simulation, analysis and generation of unit hydraulics
, creation of process flow and P&I diagrams, equipment sizing, equipment specifi
cation, selection of process control criteria, and analysis of unit design and o
peration to generate relief loads and size relief valves.

Unique aspects of the job includes:-

Close coordination with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, CAD dr
afting, process control, rotating equipment, metallurgy).
Close involvement with customers and,
Opportunity to work closely with UOPs experts in refining, petrochemicals
and natural gas treating processes.
Participation in review meetings with customers

Job Requirements The candidate must have a chemical engineering degree and
a minimum of 2 years experience in the design of refinery, petrochemicals, and/o
r gas processing units. The ideal candidate would have 2-5 years hands on design
experience with a recognized design firm. Experience in the use of simulator pa
ckages, such as Aspen, Hysys, or ProII is desirable. Good computer skills are re
quired. Good communication skills are essential.

Location Gurgaon, Haryana (NCR-New Delhi), India with up to
12 months of training assignment in US or UK.
India employment authorization is required.
