Macro extensometer TC-EXMACRO

Applicational range:
The macro extensometer is a universal, high resolution
extensometer for tensile, compression, flexure and
cyclic tests on plastic, hard foam and metals which
have low to medium specimen extension.
Advantages of this extensometer:
Deformations on the specimen are acquired in the
elastic and plastic deformation ranges during the
entire tensile test up to specimen break
Drag forces are very small with the macro
Resolution and accuracy are very high over the
entire measuring range
It is also suitable for alternating load tests
Compression and flexure tests by simply
exchanging sensor arms
Tiltable knife edges avoid damage being
caused to the specimen up to specimen break
Knife edge geometry enables both round and flat
specimen to be tested
The macro extensometer can be combined with all
analogue and incremental clip-on extensometers
Sensor arms suitable for use in temperature
chambers are available
Sensor arms can be changed without tools
Accuracy class 1 according to EN ISO 9513
Options
Determination of the r & n value and of the
Poissons ratio with the corresponding reduction in
width monitor (clamp/unclamp manually or
automatically)
A variant of the reduction in width monitor can be
swivelled-out by 90 and thus enables initial gauge
lengths from 10 mm on without having to first
dismantle the monitor
Motorised clamping/unclamping of the sensor arms
(controlled via test software testXpert
