Synopsis

This is an introductory course on the overview of management. It focuses on the basic
theory and process of the four fundamental functions of management : planning,
organizing, leading and controlling. Special attention is also given to the factors in the
external environment, decision making process and ethical issues.

Course Objective

The objective of the course is expose students to the general aspects of business
management skills and knowledge needed to successfully manage an organization
effectively and efficiently being an intrapreneur or an entrepreneur.
