Personal Profile

I have just finished my final academic year at the University of Lincoln, where I studied Investigative
Journalism. During my time at the university, I was able to balance my education with an active social life
and part-time work. I have gained experience as a journalist in several areas, and am trained in a variety
of formats, including print, online, radio and television. I am dedicated to my work, and keen to tackle
new challenges.
Interviewing Over the past three years I have conducted many successful interviews with a wide
variety of people, including politicians, actors, industry professionals, medical experts and many
residents of Lincoln.
Team Work I am very easy to work with and always give one-hundred percent to my group. Ive
helped put together weekly radio shows with original news content and audio, and designed double
page spreads for a film/music entertainment magazine.
Curiosity My insatiable thirst for the truth behind a story is what keeps me going as a journalist. I
have always been interested in meeting new people, experiencing new cultures and writing about
my experiences.
Technology I am skilled in a variety of computer programmes, including Microsoft Word and
Powerpoint, Adobe InDesign CS6, Adobe Photoshop CS6, Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. I am also
proficient with the following equipment: Marrantz, Zoom, JVC Camera.
