I am excited to share that students at our school will begin using iPads next month!

Please come to the iPads for students event at Parkway on Tuesday, October 7, from 5-8 p.m. At
the event, students will receive their iPads and go through a brief orientation with their families. Here is
the schedule:

Time Foundations Group* Language support
4 p.m. 5:30 p.m. Base Camp English, Spanish, Hmong, Other*
5 p.m. 6:30 p.m. Tree House English, Spanish, Hmong, Other*
6 p.m. 7:30 p.m. North Shore English, Spanish, Hmong, Other*
Please arrive at the beginning of your designated time as there will be a presentation giving details of the
rollout and expectations for the first 30 minutes of your identified time slot.

Before the event, you can get ready by:

If Your Child is 12 and Under Please Complete the
Following Steps:
Step 1:

Verify your information on the attached form, if the
information is correct please sign and return the attached
form to their foundations teachers by October 1
st
and skip
to step 5

Step 2:

If your contact information is incorrect please fill in the
correct information on the form and return it to school

Step 3:

If you dont have an email address, visit gmail.com to set
one up. Instructions are available at
http://personalizedlearning.spps.org/appleid.

Step 4:

If you dont have internet access at home, please visit
Parkway Monday through Friday between the hours of 9
AM and 1PM until October 3
rd
for additional help.

Step 5:

If your student is 12 years old or younger, you will receive
an email from Apple asking you to set up an Apple ID.
Please set up an Apple ID for your student before
your student receives an iPad. Instructions are available
at http://personalizedlearning.spps.org/appleid. Apple IDs
do not require a credit card.

If Your Child is 13 and Older Please Complete the
Following Steps:
Step 1:
