Finding your Soul Mission

Do you feel you are on earth to do something special, but do not know what?
Are you yearning for a more meaningful life?
Do you realize you created a plan for your life before you were
born?
Do you realize something within you knows all about this plan?
Do you know this is your soul?
Do you know that your soul will guide you step by step as your
life plan, your soul mission unfolds?
The illustration below depicts our simple yet profound connection with the Sun, the
God of our Solar System.

It is obvious that if the Sun ceases to exist, so will our physical world. Simply stated,
the Sun gives us life. But many of us do not realize that the Sun penetrates our very
being even more profoundly:
A life stream or spark of fire runs directly from the Sun through
various planes and lodges itself in the pineal gland in each of our
heads. This forms your soul or the "God within" which provides
all the solutions to your life problems, if you will only ask.
This section is designed to show you how you can tap into the
power, love, and knowledge your soul embodies.
You must make a conscious effort to contact your soul. Talk to
it. Ask for its help. It will respond accordingly. This event has
been included in your life's plan, the plan you agreed upon
before you incarnated.
It should be obvious to you when this happens; you may feel an
inner excitement, as if something that has been sleeping within
you is waking up. You feel eager to follow the path your soul is
suggesting.
The more contact you make with your soul, the more the
soul will infuse your personality. What are the advantages?
Your soul mission becomes clear.
You commit to your soul mission and take the first steps
toward living it.
Your soul takes you in hand, guides, and trains you.
Ideas for action arise from your soul; they prove true and
reliable.
These ideas are conveyed by a quiet inner voice, an
intuition, or a strong urge to act.
As well, there are clues for what to do which you learn to
recognize and follow.
You are guided to situations, information, and people who
help you fulfill your mission.
When you complete one mission, you will be guided to the
next.
You are amazed! Your soul knows things you have no way
of knowing.
Your life becomes an adventure; you are taking steps into
the unknown.
You become humble; you depend on guidance from your
soul.
You become strong; if you are asked to do something that
challenges you, help is present.
Increasingly, your soul directs your life.
You meet your soul group; you carry a piece of the puzzle
for work you will do together.
You implement a small part of a great plan that lives in the
mind of the Spiritual Hierarchy, the Masters of Wisdom
who oversee the wellbeing of our planet.
You are grateful.
How do you know you are in contact with your soul, and not
with an astral entity posing as your soul?
Ideas from your soul arise quietly and work when you act
upon them.
If there is fanfare or strong emotion, it is not your soul.
Your soul leads you one step at a time, so you learn and
your commitment is tested.
If your free will is compromised; if something wants to
impose on you actions that don't seem right, it is not your
soul.
If you are urged to hurry, to act immediately it is not your
soul.
If you do not have the financial resources to enact the plan,
it is not coming from your soul.
If your personality is inflated or is enticed with money,
power, or sex it is not your soul.
If your mission makes you humble, loving, pure,
harmonious it is coming from your soul.
If it relieves the pain and distress of your fellow man it is
coming from your soul.
If it teaches and brings understanding to your fellow man it
is coming from your soul.
What keeps you committed to your soul mission?
You strengthen your will and intention to live your soul
mission.
You gain the freedom to persist and complete your mission.
You commit to a daily meditation practice and a life that
includes silence and solitude.
You realize a much sought after peaceful emotional and
mental life.
Your health improves because you get regular exercise, eat
a proper diet, and sleep soundly.
You can distinguish between the demands of your soul and
of your personality.
More and more, your soul guides your life.
You develop an inquiring mind.
You keep yourself well-informed about world events.
You learn to stay emotionally detached as world events
unfold.
You are able to concentrate and easily ward off
distractions.
You achieve the ability to march to the beat of your own
drum.
You are willing to be of service.
Your life fills with Love.
What holds you back or leads you off track?
A stress filled, frenzied life
Lack of solitude and quiet time
Addiction to drugs, alcohol, food, sex, power
Family members, especially a spouse or partner, who do
not support your soul mission
Friends who think you are crazy
Laziness, unwillingness to make the life changes your
mission requires
Fear of the unknown
Being easily distracted
Inability to concentrate
Unhealthy body/ emotions/ mind
Noise (emotional and mental junk food):
o Turn off your TV and radio, except for programs that
inform and nurture you.
o Turn off angry, discordant music.
o Turn off music with inane lyrics that manipulate your
mind
o Turn off computer and video games.
o Turn off background noise when possible.
Mass gatherings where emotions are ramped up, like sports
events or rock concerts; these are feeding grounds for astral
entities; they can attack you.
Astral entities posing as your soul or as a Master
Doubting that your soul mission is real and that the Masters
exist
Mood swings
Discouragement/giving up easily
The need to conform
Money problems
Failure to meditate
Four Meditation Methods Leading Up to Soul Contact
Daily meditation opens the door to soul contact and deepens it.
Silence is the pre-requisite for any effort to meditate. No music.
No TV or radio in the background. No voices. No extraneous
noises from your surroundings.
Find a place that you can count on for silence, a sacred place
that you can return to anytime to meditate. It could be in a
corner of your bedroom, in the back yard, in a park or even in
church! Sit on the floor, legs folded in a meditation position, or
sit in a comfortable chair.
Be comfortable but not so that you fall asleep! Meditation is an
active mental activity and nothing can be accomplished if you
fall asleep.
Try to schedule a time each day to sit and meditate.
1. Analyze your own thinking (about two weeks):
Sit quietly and close your eyes. Almost immediately your mind
will wander and thoughts will enter into your mind. Never
mind. J ust pull back and like a stranger sitting on the sidelines,
watch these thoughts stream through your mind. Take note
about these thoughts. Don't react to them. Being very detached,
just watch these thoughts stream by. Do this each session for a
few minutes to begin with, then build up to 10 minutes.
Watch your thinking for about two weeks in daily sessions of 10
minutes.
You will note that as time goes by, there will be fewer and fewer
thoughts streaming through your mind and you will be at the
threshold of gaining control of your thinking.
2. Concentrate on an object (one week):
Pick an object wherever you are meditating to concentrate on. It
could be anything: a vase, lamp, cup, pencil, etc.
Sit quietly and close your eyes. Draw all your energy together
and concentrate on the object for as long as you can. Other
thoughts may stream into your mind. Don't mind them, just
return to concentrating on the chosen object.
Keep doing this method until you can hold your concentration
for about 5 to 10 minutes. If you succeed, you're doing fine.
You are on the road to controlling your mind and not your mind
controlling you.
3. Vacate the mind (the whole time):
Let us call this The Seven Breath Method. The objective is to
take seven deep inhalations and exhalations during which
time no extraneous thoughts will stream into your mind. If you
can reach the seventh inhalation/exhalation of breath
successfully without any thoughts in your mind (except for
counting the breaths) you have made it! However, if extraneous
thoughts creep in during your breathing, you must start all over
again.
In the beginning, it is very common for thoughts to invade your
breathing around the third inhalation. Start over again until you
have inhaled and exhaled seven times without any interfering
thoughts.
This method can be a lot of fun and quite satisfying once you've
breathed in and out seven times without any thought intrusions.
You're now on your way to strong mind control.
4. In-breath Meditation:
Admittedly, this may be the most difficult because it opens the
door to all the riches and advantages of soul contact.
1. Sit in a comfortable posture with your spine straight and erect.
You may sit in the traditional yogi's meditation position or
straight up in a comfortable chair.
2. Invoke the Violet Flame of Protection or read the Invocation
of Protection on our website.
3. Begin to breathe deeply. Honor the breath that is yours to
draw in and to exhale. And with each breath, one should realize
that one is drawing in pure life and light.
4. As you breathe deeply, initially focus your attention in the
head area, the top of the head in particular. Become aware of
your own aura.
5. Then, become aware of your spine, the central beam of the
temple of the body, the spinal column, that lovely dimensional
doorway into inner space. Focus on the spine as you get used to
the rhythm of the breath, as it goes in, as it goes out, and
eventually release your attention on the breathing as it continues
at the proper pace by itself.
6. Focus all attention on the spinal column itself, holding the
attention there. Seek to visualize it as a tube of pure white light.
This is your dimensional opening in the physical body to the
other dimensions.
7. You must have the desire to go in it, the will to go into the
dimensional portal. Will yourself to go in. It may feel like
you're paddling a canoe upstream against the current, not unlike
the salmon who doggedly keep swimming upstream against the
current that keeps beating them back. But they don't stop. Use
your will to go in, in, in.
8. In each session of meditation, at some point you may hit an
inner foothold or landmark. You'll know what it is by the sheer
experience of it. Even if you think you cannot go any deeper,
keep trying nonetheless until you cannot go any further. At this
point, stop and simply enjoy the inner surroundings.
9. Become aware of the inner atmosphere as the breath
continues to inhale and exhale at its own steady pace.
10. Know yourself as you are, beyond thoughts, feelings,
sensations and certainly your physical bodies. Every session will
be a new adventure.
11. Come to know that part of you, the soul, that has never
changed and shall never change, the part of you that is eternal.
Seek to feel your own endlessness.
12. You should begin to see a slight glow in your head, even in a
dark room; that will get brighter and brighter over time. This is
an indication that you are approaching the soul, the God within,
which is lodged in your pineal gland.
