Arbor Run Pool Closing

Party
The annual Arbor Run pool closing party was held on September
5th with a packed house and the weather held. Bridget Stewart
provided the music and the Social Committee served pizza,
drinks and desserts to an eager crowd ready for fun and games.
Congratulations to all those who participated. Traditionally, the
adults largest splash contest is the highlight of the night but due
to injuries the turnout was light. It didnt deter Chris Reilly from
making waves as he took rst prize. Sandra Johnson and her sta!
provided another great summer of fun, thanks to all. The Social
Committee is looking for volunteers, if interested please contact
Bridget Stewart or Stephanie Salus.

Halloween Safety for Kids
and Adults
Once again that Trick or Treat time will be upon us and the
neighborhood will be busy with young and old making the
candy run. Here are some tips to remember:
Make sure youngsters are accompanied by an adult.
Dress children in bright or neon colors.
If their costume is dark put neon tape on it in a few spots,
this will allow drivers to see them.
Unfortunately but true, tell your children $and parents% not to
eat any of the candy until they are back home.
Go over everything the children have collected to make sure
pieces are wrapped. This will allow better sorting for your
take.
If something looks odd do not let them eat it.
Keep your outside light on during Trick or Treat hours in
order for people to know if you are participating and keep
those safe from falling on the steps or driveway.
Once youve run out of treats, turn o! your light.
Happy Halloween !
