The training-seminar is FREE (for Eastern Visayas
participants only). Inclusive of food and lodging (simple
accommodations, dormitory style, no air-con).
Please keep the RECEIPTS of your Travel expenses
(van, bus, take-out meals, etc.) for reimbursement (for
Eastern Visayas participants only).
(3) DEADLINE OF SUBMISSION
The deadline of submission of all forms is on
JANUARY 10, 2014 (Friday).

At the end of the training-seminar, participants are expected
to be able to commit themselves to reach-out to disaster
victims of typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) and can be available in
future events where their services may be needed.

Sacred Heart Institute for Transformative
Education (SHIFT) Foundation and the diferent
institutions/organizations supporting and reaching out
to Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) victims, invite you to a
training-seminar on PSYCHOLOGICAL FIRST AID,
DEBRIEFING, COUNSELING, AND COACHING
this 14-15 January 2014, Tuesday to Wednesday, to be
held at Sophies Farm, Brgy. Doa Lucia, Mondragon,
Northern Samar.
Objectives of the Training-Seminar:
1) To design and disseminate a psycho-
educational and inner wellness program to
efectively respond to people gravely afected
by critical incidents, natural disasters and other
traumatic events.
2) To synergize with other humanitarian and
helping professionals and other volunteers in
concerted eforts towards a more organized,
efective and positive alignment of purpose
during post-traumatic incidents or situations to
involve the training RCW teammates and other
volunteer collaborators
3) To undertake diferent forms of post-trauma
or post-disaster interventions which may
include Psychological First Aid, Debriefng,
Basic Counseling and Group Processing, Life
Coaching, Stress Management, other Healing
Modalities and Inner Wellness modules
4) To train helping professionals and other
volunteers to multiply competencies in this
matter
