Description:

The Administrator provides hands-on day-to-day technical support for Linux & UNIX systems. The scope of this position includes
mission critical support for Linux & UNIX servers, all of which are located in our Global Datacenters and Regional Datacenters.

This individual will be part of a team that is responsible for the following operational areas: support, administration, monitoring, and
troubleshooting, and participating in technology driven projects to enhance our service.

Basic Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and documentation for Oracle Solaris and Red Hat Enterprise Linux both physical and virtual

Provide support for x86 Blade, Oracle SPARC, and rack mount servers.

Provide operating system level support to application developers and performing server migrations into the new datacenters.

procedures for Disaster Recovery (DR).
Responsible for coordinating planned and unplanned outages and potential recovery efforts in the event of system failure.
Manage Red Hat Linux Server and Oracle Solaris operating systems and all components/services including Authentication,
DNS, File Systems, DHCP, PRINT SERVICES, FTP, TCP/IP and others.
Responsible for deploying security patches to the server environment by following standard patching methodology
