Weather proofing to be done wherever required. Comply
Power Supply Polarity Check:
BBU & RRH connected to -48V DC power supply from DCDB with proper polarity. Comply
Reflected Power/VSWR/Return Loss Check by VSWR meter / Site Master:
VSWR measurement should be done for all the sectors and connecting ports with external
VSWR meter or site master for all the transmit paths of the antenna including jumper cable of the
antenna. Measured VSWR value should be <=1.3 for feeder cable alone and <=1.5 for jumper
and antenna together.
Comply
Post-commissioning Checks (remotely in EMS)
eNodeB discovery in EMS:
eNodeB with 3 configured sectors should be completely visible & active in the EMS after
integration.
Comply
eNodeB Auto-configuration:
Verify that the configuration is as planned, the requisite parameters are enabled and the
values of all parameters are exactly same as planned values. In case of any discrepancy from
the planned value should be highlighted with proper reason.
Comply
Transmit Power Check:
Check measured value in EMS . The power of each Transmit Path should be 40 dBm+-
0.5dB( 39.5 till 40.5dBm).LSM R snapshot should contain eNodeB Id with date along with power
value.5% of the sites for the city should be supported with Power measurement data with Site
master/Power meter.
Comply
Reflected Power/VSWR/Return Loss Check:
Check the measured value in the EMS to ensure that the cabling between RRH and
Antenna is proper and that Antenna is also not defective
Comply
VSWR measurement should be done for all the sectors (RRHs) and connecting ports for all
the transmit paths of the antenna including jumper cable of the antenna. Measured VSWR value
should be <=1.5
Comply
Network Connectivity and EPC Association check:
Check that EMS does not show any Alarms related to EPC unavailability and also check
whether the IP Addresses of MME and S-GW are as planned.
Comply
IP assigned should be same as per the IP plan. All critical, major alarms should be cleared for
eNodeB to EPC association.
Comply
Overall fault and alarm check:
To check that there are no faults or alarms when the eNodeB comes up for the first time. All
Critical/Major/Minor alarms related to eNodeB should be cleared.
Comply
Hardware Version Check Report:
The eNodeBs Hardware version should match the agreed Hardware version Comply
Software Version Check Report:
All eNodeB should have latest SW release version working Comply
Uplink Interference Check:
To check if the eNodeB reports any uplink, in-band interference even when all adjacent sites
are blocked. This helps to discover and eliminate any unknown sources of interference. The
value of UL RSSI should be less than -100 dBm. Any major/minor Uplink interference should be
reported.
Partial Comply
(Report only. Blocking all
adjacent sites is not
always feasible in the
field.).Report Only
RET integration check:
Issue RET commands to change the Electrical Tilt and ensure that the Antennas RET
controller responds properly and that there are not alarms related to it.

This will check Link Adaptation / AMC in both DL
and UL and give an idea about the DL SINR and
throughput distribution in the cell
UEs Tx Power Control
MIMO Switching between SM and Tx Diversity
Cell Edge for 256 Kbps in UL and 2Mbps in DL
RF Parameters to be collected and post-processed:
RSRP, RSRQ, SINR
UE Tx Power and Power Headroom
MCS, RB Allocation, Rank Indicator
DL PHY Throughput, UL PHY Throughput and
BLER
PCID
Tracking Area
Attach Success Rate
Drop Rate
Handover Report has to be generated after
performing clockwise and Anti-clockwise handover
