and the Kimios 6undle 7eployer web application.
Installation
*n8ip the Kimios 6undle 7eployer that you have downloaded and run the
omcat instance e-isting in the deployer archive.
9oremost, if you are on ()*+,inu- or .ac &S / 'or other *)I/#like
systems1, you have to apply e-ecution right on the shell scripts.
o do this %
$ chmod +x kimios.sh
$ chmod +x bin/*.sh
hen, run it by e-ecuting ./kimios.sh start 'on 0indows environments, use
kimios.bat instead of1.

9ollow instructions below to begin installation.
o access to the Kimios 6undle 7eployer interface, launch a web browser
and go to http%++url%::::+kimios.
Database Settings
In the first step, specify your database settings%
Database type is the type of installed database 'might be 4ostgreS5,,
.yS5,, .icrosoft S5, Server or &racle1,
Hostname of the database server you want to connect,
Database port is the ;4 port used by the omcat server,
sername and pass!ord used for the Kimios connection,
Database name of the database that will create by Kimios 6undle
7eployer.
he Kimios 6undle 7eployer can build your database automatically.
o do this, choose appropriate option <=es< from below%
If you have already a created database, just use <)o<.
Data "ocation
Secondly, continue installation by specifying all the re$uired paths needed to
store Kimios documents and others.
Data repository path is used by Kimios to store all your documents,
Solr home path is used by S&,> to make searches in Kimios
repository.
If the paths do not e-ist, Kimios 6undle 7eployer will create them.
Continue by clicking Install button.
)ow wait until the end of the installation process.
#onnection to Kimios
0hen the installation process completed, Kimios 6undle 7eployer redirect
you to the Kimios 0eb ?-plorer log#in page at http://localhost:9999.
emporary default account is already set for the first authentication%
*sername% admin
4assword% kimios
$or security reasons% you must set a ne! pass!ord &or this account
a&ter log in.
You can also add new accounts later.
=ou can stop Kimios in a safe way by using kimios.sh script%
