Yarn Needle

0-3 months (Approx 3 )

Start with Color A for the sole: (worked in the round)

1.
Ch 9.
Work 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Sc in next 3 chs, hdc in next ch, dc in next 2 chs, 7 dc
in last ch. Working across opposite side, dc in next 2 ch, hdc in next ch, sc in next 3 chs.
Place marker and move up each round.

2.
Beginning in the top of the first sc of previous round,
2 sc in the next 3 sts. Sc 7. 2 sc in next 5 sts. Sc 7.

3.
(Sc 1, 2 sc in next st) 3 times. Sc 7. (Sc 1, 2 sc in next st) 5 times. Sc 7.

4.
Sc 1 in each st all around (38 sts). Move up your marker. Join with sl st and finish
off.


5.
Start with your new color at your marker at the last sc.
ch 1. Sc in same st. Hdc 1. Dc 7. Hdc 1. Sc 28. Join with a sl st at the beginning of the
round.

6.
Ch 1. Sc in same st. Hdc. Dc2tog. Dc 3. Dc2tog. Hdc. Sc 8. Sc2tog 7 times. Sc 6. Join.

7.
Ch 1. Sc in same st. Sc. Hdc2tog 3 times. Sc 6.

{This is the start of your toe straps. To work them, you will go back and forth, turning
twice to achieve the width of the strap}

Ch 4. Sc into 1st ch. Sl st into next st on top of shoe. Turn, ch 1, sc 1 in next st. Sc 3 in
the 3 ch loop at top of strap. Sc 1. Sl st into the next st on shoe. Turn, ch 1. Starting in


the next st, sl all around strap (6 sl st total). Sl st onto the next st on the top of your
shoe.

Sc 9.

{Starting the next strap}

Ch 4. Sc into 1st ch. Sl st into next st on top of shoe. Turn, ch 1. Sc 1 in next st. Sc 3 in
3-ch-loop at the top of strap. Sc 1. Sk 1 st, and sl st into the following st on shoe.
Turn, ch 1. Starting in the next st, sl st all around strap (6 sl st total). Sl st onto next
worked st on shoe. Sc 3. Join with sl st. Tie off.

Toe piece:
Ch 7.

1.
Sc in 2nd ch from hook. Hdc 4. Sc. Turn.

2. -7.
Ch 1. Sc in same st. Hdc 4. Sc. Turn.

Finish off. Leave a long tail.

Attach to shoe with yarn needle and the tail. Start about 2 sts above the strap, and go
in and out with your needle, all around the toe and over to the other side. Make sure
to secure the end very well.

To finish, using white yarn and a yarn needle, sew down through the hole in the left
strap. Leave enough yarn to tie a bow. Continue around the shoe, just under the top
loops, and sew around the shoe. Finish by going up and out through the right loop.
Trim yarn if needed.

3-6 Months (Approx 4)

Start with Color A for the sole: (worked in the round)


1.
Ch 11.
Work 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 4 ch, hdc in next ch, dc in next 3 ch, 7 dc in
last ch. Working across opposite side , dc in next 3 chs, hdc in next ch, sc in next 4 chs .
Place st marker and move up each round.

2.


Beginning in the top of the first st of previous round,
2 sc in next 3 sts. Sc 9. 2 sc in next 5 sts. Sc 9.

3.
(Sc 1, 2 sc in next st) 3 times. Sc 9. (Sc 1, 2 sc in next st) 5 times. Sc 9.

4.
Sc all around (42 sts). Move up your marker. Join with sl st and finish off.


5.
Start with your new color at your st marker, at the last sc.
ch 1, sc in same st. Hdc 1. Dc 7. Hdc 1. Sc 32. Join with at sl st at the beinning of th
round.

6.
Ch 1. Sc in same st. Hdc. Dc2tog. Dc 3. Dc2tog. Hdc. Sc 10. Sc2tog 7 times. Sc 8. Join.

7.
Ch 1. Sc in same st. Sc. Hdc2tog 3 times. Sc 8.

the 3-ch-loop at top of strap. Sc 1 (into the side of the first sc). Sk 1 st, and sl st into
the following st on shoe. Turn, ch 1. Starting in the next st, sl all around strap (6 sl st
total). Sl st onto the next worked st on the top of your shoe.

Sc 5. Join. Tie off.


Toe piece:*
Ch 7.
1.
Sc in 2nd ch from hook. Hdc 4. Sc. Turn.


2. -7.
Ch 1. Sc in same st. Hdc 4. Sc. Turn.

Finish off. Leave a long tail.

Attach to shoe with yarn needle, and the tail. Start about 2 sts above the strap, and
go in and out with your needle, all around the toe and over to the other side. Make

Hdc all around (46 sts). Move up your marker. Finish with sl st and tie off.


5.
Start with your new color at your stitch marker, at the last sc.
Ch 1. Sc in same st. Hdc 1. Dc 7. Hdc 1. Sc 36. Join with top of chain.

6.
Ch 1. Sc in same st. Hdc 1. Dc2tog. Dc 3. Dc2tog. Hdc 1. Sc 12. Sc2tog 7. times. Sc 10.
Join with sl st.



7.
Ch 1. Sc in same st. Sc. Dc2tog 3 times. Sc 8.

2 sc in next 3 sts. Sc 12. 2 sc in next 5 sts. Sc 13.

3.
(1 Hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next st) 3 times. Hdc 12. (1 hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next st}
5 times. Hdc 12.

4.
Hdc all around (48 sts) Move up your maker. Finish with sl st and tie off.


5.
Start with your new color at your stitch marker. at the last sc
ch 1, sc in same st. Hdc 1. Dc 7. Hdc 1. Sc 38. Join with sl st.

6.
Ch 1. Sc in same st. Hdc 1. Dc2tog. Dc 3. Dc2tog. Hdc 1. Sc 13. Sc2tog 7 times. Sc 11.

7.
Ch 1. Sc in same st. Sc. Dc2tog 4 times. Sc 9.
