SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
This program requires:
Windows 3.1 or Windows 95 or later
8 MB RAM
70 MB of free disk space
recommended screen size is at least 800x600 pixels

INSTALLATION
Insert CDROM.

FOR WINDOWS 95 USERS: From the Start menu, select Run; type E:\Setup.exe and then
click OK. (If your CD-ROM drive is not drive E:\, replace E:\ with the correct
drive letter.) The installation program will begin; this may take a few moments.
FOR WINDOWS 3.x USERS: From File Manager, select the CD-ROM drive (usually drive
E:\); then double-click the Setup icon. (If your CD-ROM drive is not drive E:, re
place E:\ with the correct drive letter.) The installation program will begin; t
his may take a few moments.
Follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation of the program on
your computer.
Unless you specify otherwise, the program will be installed to the folder "C:\Ad
min." Unless you specify otherwise, the installation program will create an ico
n in a new program group called "Cambridge GMAT Review."
Double-click the icon labeled "Cambridge GMAT Review" to start the program.

Using Cambridge Reviews GMAT Computer Adaptive TestPrep(TM)
STARTING UP
Double-click the program icon. After double-clicking the program icon, you will
see three splash screens. Click on the button labeled "Next" to move past these
screens to the "Registration and Menu" screen.

THE REGISTRATION AND MENU SCREEN
The tests and tutorials for the program are accessed through the "Registration a
nd Menu" screen. In order to open one of them, you must enter an ID number.
To start a tutorial or test, highlight the test or tutorial and click the button
labeled OK. The test or tutorial begins. Instructions for reviewing the tutoria
l or for answering the test questions appear at the start of the tutorial or tes
t.

THE REVIEW MENU
At the end of a test, you will be taken to the "Review Menu." Here, you may cho
ose to view the results of your test, print the results of your test, or review
explanations for any of the questions on your test.

PRINTING RESULTS
To print your score report, click on the button labeled "Print Results."

VIEWING RESULTS
You may preview the results of your test before you print them. To do this, high
light the test with the results you wish to preview and click on the button labe
led "View Results." Your score reports are made up of several components.
After you have finished viewing each one, click the OK button in the upper right
of the Results screen. If the component of your score report spans more than on
e page, click the buttons labeled Next and Previous to go to the next or previou
s pages. To zoom in or out so that the report is easier to read, either click an
ywhere on the page of your score report, or click on the buttons labeled Zoom In
and Zoom Out.

REVIEWING A TEST
To review the questions in a section of your test, you may either double-click t
he left mouse button on the test you wish to review or highlight the test you wi
sh to review and click on the button labeled "Review Section."
When you have completed your review, click on the button labeled "End Review" to
return to the "Registration and Menu" screen.

WHAT'S ON THIS DISK
The material on this disk has been designed to prepare you for the Computer Adap
tive Graduate Management Admissions Test. It is divided into the following sect
ions:
GMAT CAT TUTORIAL
This section is intended to let you get accustomed to the contents of the Offici
al GMAT Tutorial. All test-takers must go through the Official Tutorial prior t
o taking the actual GMAT Computer Adaptive Test. To help you avoid unwelcome su
rprises, Cambridge has provided a summary of that tutorial here.

DIAGNOSTIC EXAMS
In preparing for a test like the GMAT Computer Adaptive Test, it is important fo
r you to understand your strengths and weaknesses. The diagnostic sections are
fixed-length samples of the GMAT. Your score will determine the areas where you
need the most improvement.

ESSAY QUIZZES
This section allows you to practice writing essays for the GMAT with a program l
ike the one you will use when you take your actual test.

GMAT STUDY MODE
The GMAT Study Mode consists of full-length Verbal and Quantitative GMAT section
s. These untimed sections contain a fixed set of questions arranged in an ascen
ding order of difficulty. The Study Mode section should be used after you have
completed your GMAT Computer Adaptive exercises. You should practice your new t
est-taking strategies before taking the timed adaptive tests with the pressure o
f a ticking clock.

GMAT COMPUTER ADAPTIVE TEST
This section is the most important of all. Its a chance for you to practice taki
ng a timed, adaptive GMAT exam. You will get a chance to answer questions just
like those found on the real GMAT Computer Adaptive Test. You will practice str
ategies for getting those questions right and grow accustomed to the challenges
of a test that adapts to your ability level as you are taking it. The questions
here are drawn from a pool of over 1,000 questions so it can be taken several t
imes before questions repeat.

LICENSE AGREEMENT AND LIMITED WARRANTY
BY OPENING THIS PACKAGE, YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE FOLLOWING AGREEMENT
. THIS LEGAL DOCUMENT IS AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND CAMBRIDGE PUBLISHING, INC
. (CP). CP IS WILLING TO LICENSE THIS SOFTWARE TO YOU ONLY ON THE CONDITION THA
T YOU ACCEPT ALL THE TERMS CONTAINED IN THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT A
GREE WITH THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, CP IS UNWILLING TO LICENSE THIS SOFTWARE T
O YOU AND YOU SHOULD REMOVE THIS SOFTWARE FROM YOUR COMPUTER.
1. GRANT OF LICENSE: In consideration of the price you paid for this product, a
nd your agreement to abide by the terms and conditions of this Agreement, CP gra
nts to you a non-exclusive right to use and display the enclosed software progra
m (hereinafter "the SOFTWARE") on a single computer (i.e., with a single CPU) at
a single location.
2. OWNERSHIP OF THE SOFTWARE: You own only the magnetic or physical media on wh
ich the SOFTWARE is recorded or fixed, but CP retains all rights, title, and own
ership to the SOFTWARE recorded on the enclosed CD copy and all subsequent copie
s of the software.
3. COPY RESTRICTIONS: This SOFTWARE and the accompanying printed materials are
the subject of copyright. You may not copy the Documentation or the SOFTWARE, ex
cept when you make a single copy of the SOFTWARE for backup or archival purposes
only.
4. USE RESTRICTIONS: You may not network the SOFTWARE or otherwise use it on mo
re than one computer at the same time. You may not distribute copies of the SOF
TWARE or the Documentation to others. You may not reverse engineer, disassemble
, decompile, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the S
OFTWARE or the Documentation without the prior written consent of CP.
5. TRANSFER RESTRICTION: The enclosed SOFTWARE is licensed only to you and may
not be transferred to anyone else without prior written consent of CP. Any unau
thorized transfer of the SOFTWARE shall result in the immediate termination of t
his agreement.
6. TERMINATION: This license will terminate automatically without notice from C
P if you fail to comply with any provisions of this license. All provisions of
this Agreement as to warranties, limitation of liability, remedies or damages, a
nd ownership rights shall survive termination.
7. MISCELLANEOUS: This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws
of the United States of America and the State of Illinois and shall benefit CP,
its affiliates, and assignee.
8. LIMITED WARRANTY AND DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY: CP warrants that the software,
when properly used in accordance with the Documentation, will operate in substan
tial conformity with the description of the SOFTWARE set forth in the Documentat
ion. CP does not warrant the SOFTWARE will meet your requirements or that the o
peration of the SOFTWARE will be uninterrupted or error-free. CP warrants that
the media on which the SOFTWARE is delivered shall be free from defects in mater
ials and workmanship under normal use for a period of ninety (90) days from the
date of your purchase. Your only remedy, and CPs only obligation under the limit
ed warranties set forth in this Agreement is at CPs election.
Return the warranted SOFTWARE for a refund of any amounts paid by you or for a r
eplacement. The limited warranty set forth above shall not apply to any SOFTWAR
E which CP determines in good faith has been subject to misuse, neglect, imprope
r installation, repair, alteration, or damage by you. EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESSED
WARRANTIES SET FORTH ABOVE, CP DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, I
NCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNE
SS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE, C
P DOES NOT WARRANT, GUARANTEE, OR MAKE ANY REPRESENTATION REGARDING THE USE OF T
HE RESULTS OR THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE IN TERMS OF ITS CORRECTNESS, ACCURACY, REL
IABILITY, CURRENTNESS, OR OTHERWISE.
In no event shall CP or its employees, agents, suppliers, or contractors be liab
le for any incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages arising out o
f or in connection with the license granted under this agreement including, with
out limitation, loss of use, loss of data, loss of property, or claims of third
parties. In no event shall liability of CP for damages, with respect to the SOF
TWARE, exceed the amounts actually paid by you for the software.
The warranties in this agreement give you specific legal rights and you may also
have other legal rights which vary in accordance with local law.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT: You acknowledge that you have read this agreement, understand i
t and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions. You also agree that this a
greement is the complete and exclusive statement between you and CP.
