Intercession for people distanced from God....
People ho deem themsel!es too superior to call upon God for help
are furthest aa" from God.... the" are neither a#le to #elie!e in a
helpful and omnipotent Poer nor loo$ at pra"er as a #ridge hich
leads to the di!ine Deit".... ho therefore ill not esta#lish a
connection either and are thus totall" on their on if the" are faced
#" difficulties hich earthl" help cannot resol!e.
For if a person cannot find the path to God in this ad!ersit" he
demonstrates that he still remains in #latant opposition to God% that
earthl" life has not "et gained him higher de!elopment% that he
therefore is still in a !er" poor state if he has to gi!e up his earthl"
life. &e has not "et made a conscious effort in order to attain a
higher le!el.
'nd since he does not appeal for it in pra"er he also lac$s the
strength to do so.
'nd "et% e!en these people ought to sense the #lessing of pra"er%
for the" ill #e a#le to disco!er a percepti#le softening of their
nature as soon as a fellow human being prays on their behalf.
Intercession can achie!e !er" much and most of humanity could
be redeemed by now if one would appeal to God for love and
grace on behalf of the other. (hen the ilful re)ection ould not
#e so immense an"more% for God grants e!er" pra"er hich re!eals
unselfish neigh#ourl" lo!e if the gift of realisation for a fellow
human being is being appealed for. God*s infinite lo!e is
instantl" illing to fulfil such a pra"er #ecause it testifies to lo!e for
another person.
&oe!er% the distance to God is onl" reduced through lo!e% and if
the #eing itself fails it can still on earth be helped and shown
the right path through intercession.

inconcei!a#le is the thought of help to him. 'nd therefore he ill
not turn to God in pra"er either. But since a change of thinking
can only be achieved though heartfelt prayer, a person
should not miss any opportunity of sincerely praying for his
fellow human being who is still of weak faith.

anything with a devout prayer% and it especiall" affects spiritual
states% that is% the person ill relin+uish his resistance regarding all
spiritual matters% he ill #ecome reflecti!e and think about what
he previously adamantly rejected and arrive at a different
result than before.
A person who prays on behalf of his fellow human being for
spiritual enlightenment has extraordinary influence over the
latter hich demonstrates itself #" the fact that he is illing to
listen to hat is imparted to him% e!en if at first he as opposed to
it% that he thin$s a#out it and% if he later remem#ers it% that he ill
gladl" and happil" accept it. 'nd there#" the distance to God ill #e
diminished.
&eartfelt pra"er results in immense strength and must therefore
ta$e effect on his fello human #eing% as soon as this pra"er
applied to him.

'nd he ill #e guided onto the right path and still attain realisation%
if onl" after a !er" long time, #ut he is not hopelessl" left at the
merc" of the enem"% instead the #eings struggling for good ill
remain !ictorious and help redeem the person from the state of
#eing far aa" from God....
