The Shiloh Park entry plaza offers a clear and welcoming main point of entry to the park. The plaza
is highlighted by classic ballpark architecture and signage. The existing bronze ballplayer statue
has been given a new base and position of importance in the space. The gateway frames the
existing agpoles and is anked by stately outbuildings and landscaping.
DESIGN CONCEPT
Shiloh Park1
Park Plaza
The circulation areas between the playing elds are people friendly spaces offering improved
walking surfaces, shade structures, and low maintenance landscaping with shade trees. The park
buildings portray architecture that is reminiscent of the turn-of-the-century ballpark.
DESIGN CONCEPT
The eld is bordered by new dugouts, a scoring booth, and shade structures for spectators. The
shade structures can house standard sized bleachers or left without bleachers with room for pa-
trons to stand or bring their own seating.
