to see if the person you want
to talk to is within range by
displaying an antenna mark
on both radios if communica-
tions are possible. And, if your companions radio
moves out of range, youll be notified with an

Switch on the PrivacyTalk function and your
conversations will be electronically scrambled
so they cant be overheard on other FRS radios
tuned to the same frequency. Also, the group
mode allows you to chat with family and friends
without hearing other FRS radio traffic.
