Hillary: Global warming greater threat

than Islamic State?

Potential 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton entered Sen. Harry Reids (D-
Nev.) Las Vegas energy conference with clear intentions to place her global warming agenda at
the center of her campaign platform for her likely bid to return to the White House.
Climate change is the most consequential, urgent sweeping collection of challenges we face, Clinton
declared at the event catering to environmental advocates. She put this assumed crisis above all else
even higher than the current terrorist threat posed by the Islamic State.
According to a U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works report, focusing on global
warming as the focal point to a presidential run is a step in the wrong direction. This document shows
more than 700 scientists argue that global warming is not man-made but rather a product of the suns
activity. In fact, scientific observations indicate the earth is already in the midst of a major global cooling
trend.
Observations of the sun show that as for the increase in temperature, carbon dioxide is not guilty, the
report reads. As for what lies ahead in the coming decades, it is not catastrophic warming, but a global,
and very prolonged temperature drop.
Yet the substantial shift against the global warming theory has done little to deter Clinton from going all
out in her "green" agenda.
The threat is real, and so is the opportunity if we make the hard choices, the former first lady
proclaimed.
However, a recent Swedish study out of Lund University might question what Clintons definition of
real is
The study shows an unexpected link between solar activity and climate change, says the co-author of
the study, Raimund Muscheler, a geology lecturer at the university who was interviewed by
LaboratoryEquipment.com on his findings. It shows both that changes in solar activity are nothing new
and that solar activity influences the climate, especially on a regional level. Understanding these
processes helps us to better forecast the climate in certain regions.
Green is the new blue

Despite her differences with President Barack Obama in recent years, Clinton has made it clear that shes
fully on board with the presidents climate action plan, which sets out to decrease carbon emissions in the
U.S. and establish bilateral initiatives with China, India and several other nations that produce high
emissions.
[The U.S. can] show the world we are serious about meeting our obligations and show the U.S. can
still do big things, the former Secretary of State serving during Obamas first term asserted before the
Las Vegas crowd. She contended that America must work to augment its international agreements
targeting global warming, saying that a strong agreement, applicable to all should be in the works.
However, such full-fledged support of the presidents environmentalist agenda could land Clinton in the
midst of his ongoing battle against Republicans, fueled by Speaker of the House John Boehners lawsuit
to impeach Obama over his alleged abuse of his executive order privilege.
With word recently leaking that the Obama administration is planning to once again bypass Congress and
sign a United Nations carbon-emissions-control treaty at the 2015 U.N. Climate Summit in Paris,
according to The New York Times, Hillary could meet similar bipartisan opposition by forwarding the
green agenda. The treaty a supplement to the 1997 Kyoto Protocol failed to yield a legally binding
international climate agreement at the 2009 U.N. climate meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark .
While the U.N. and the Democratic ticket call upon the global community to take every precaution to
avoid the use of fossil fuels, an increasing number of climate experts point out the benefits of rising
carbon emissions, which are said to promote a rise in the earths biodiversity. The chairman of the Center
for the Study of Carbon Dioxide and Global Change, Dr. Craig Idso, attests that rising levels of carbon
dioxide lower the deleterious effects of numerous plant stresses, such as insufficient water, air pollution,
low light, high salinity, and high and low temperatures, not to mention the fact that carbon dioxide
provides plants protection from being eaten by herbivores.
Containing no mention of fossil fuel benefits, Clintons environmental plan is predicated on the
assumption that traditional energy resources such as oil and coal produce deleterious effects to the earths
atmosphere and thus hike up global temperatures. However, this controversial theory is highly
problematic to leading scientists, who accuse global warming activists of spreading a false fear that
pollutants from oil and coal are destroying the earth as we know it.

prolonged (virtually over the entire century) increase in the energy radiated by the sun, resulting in the
global warming that today climate alarmists believe is a man-made phenomenon, reports the head of St.
Peterburgs Pulkovo Astronomical Observatory, Habibulio Abdussamatov, who co-authored parts of the
aforementioned Senate Committees environmental study. The intense solar energy flow radiated since
the beginning of the 1990s is slowly decreasing and, in spite of conventional opinion, there is now an
unavoidable advance toward a global decrease, a deep temperature drop comparable to the Maunder
minimum.
Beware of the heat?
Such alarmism includes videos released by the U.N. predicting that Arizona will experience a mega-
drought and Miami will be submerged by water, not to mention former Vice President Al Gores
imagery of polar bears drowning due to melting ice in the polar regions due to man-induced global
warming.
But according to Abdussamatov, there is little doubt that increases in earths temperature has nothing to
do with man, as he argues that the suns activity dictates heating and cooling.
The observed global warming of the climate of the Earth is not caused by the anthropogenic emissions of
greenhouse gases, but by extraordinarily high solar intensity that extended over virtually the entire past
century, the Russian scientist wrote. Future decrease in global temperature will occur even if
anthropogenic ejection of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere rises to record levels.
Arguing that the so-called cataclysmic event of global warming is not a current threat to the earth,
Abdussamatov asserts that the last warming trend passed its peak between 1998 and 2005, as pointed out
by WND.
Ready for a cold one?
In fact, Abdussamatov warns people that colder days across the globe will be shortly upon us.
Over the past decade, global temperature on the Earth has not increased; global warming has ceased, and
already there are signs of the future deep temperature drop, the climate expert forewarns.
With the U.N.s 2014 Climate Summit hitting New York City later this month, Clinton is wasting little
time to get as much support as she can to forward her green agenda so that a new carbon emissions
regulatory agreement will be reached that would take precedence over the 1997 Kyoto Protocol.
Yet Abdussamatov, who continues to gain more and more support in the scientific community, insists that
the exact opposite of global warming is taking place on earth, which he insists is in the first stages of a
prolonged ice age. In fact, for almost two decades he accurately forecasted that global warming would
not be detected.
The global temperature of the Earth has begun its decrease without limits on the volume of greenhouse
gas emissions by industrial developed countries, Abdussamatov reports. Therefore, the implementation
of the Kyoto Protocol aimed to rescue the planet from the greenhouse effect should be put off at least 150
years.
Arguing that climate change should be the gravest concern for America, Clinton took the opportunity at
the Nevada conference to not only tout the need for renewable energy sources, but also for the
Environmental Protection Agency to enforce new rules restricting power plant emissions. Avoiding any
mention of the Keystone XL Pipeline, Clinton made it very clear what direction she would like the United
States to take in regards to energy production in the future.
[America can be the] clean energy superpower of the 21st century, Clinton proclaimed while rallying
support.
