2.1.1. PIGMENT DISPERSIONS FOR TEXTILES
SudatexTM dispersions offer a select range of colorants with high

color brilliance and strength in stir in form, ideal for incorporating into
water based printing inks to impart surface decoration and effect on to
textiles and other materials.
Technical properties:
SudatexTM preparations are designed with the ideal combination

of a fine pigment particle size and optimum shelf – life stability, ideal for
using in the printing and dying of natural, cellulose and synthetic fibres,
with excellent fastness, brilliant shades and soft feel.
Wide range of water – based surfactant pastes,

Bright and intense colors.
High tictorial strength.
Wide compatibility in water - based system.
Readily dispersible .
Excellent light fastness, wash – resistance and acid alkali
resistance.
Good heat stability.
Good flow with minimal effect on ink rheology.
VOC – free and APEO – free.
SudatexTM dispersions are generally equivalent to other leading

products and they offer exceptional value – in – use.

Environment:
SudatexTM dispersions are VOC – free, APEO – free. Pigments

used for manufacturing SudatexTM dispersions are not restricted under
the German Consumer Goods Ordinance
(Bedarfsgegenständeverordnung) of 10/4/1992 (BGBl I, 886), as
amended by 5th Amending ordinance of 17. 4. 1997 (BGBl I, 796),
except SudatexTM Red SC – FGR 4335.
SudatexTM dispersions are not classified as hazardous for

packaging under CONEG and 94/62/EU. Neither are they classified as
special waste.
2.1.2. PIGMENTS FOR POWDER COATINGS
Powder coatings are used for a wide range of end applications

from interior domestic goods through to the highest performance
automotive applications. This range of organic and traditional
inorganic pigments offer formulators’ choice without compromise – all
just from one supplier.

the analysis of typical batches. Pigments that are controlled and
certified to these guidelines can be supplied on request, b y contacting
the nearest sales office.

2.1.5. PEARL PIGMENTS
SumicaTM pearls are mica crystalline platelets, coated with Metal

oxides like titanium dioxide and/or iron oxide. The refractive index of the
mica platelets increases with The Coating of metal oxide. Pearl pigments
are readily oriented into parallel layers because of their lamellar shape.
These Pearls are suitable for paints, powder coating, printing inks, PVC
leather clothes, artificial and natural leather, Plastics, etc.,

2.1.6. HOMOPASTE COLORS
Ho mopastes and high solids, pourable pigment dispersions.

Sudarshan’s Homopaste series is designed for coloration in various types
of aqueous paints. These aqueous pastes consists of high quantities o f
dispersed pigments without any resins or binders.
Technical and economical advantages:
The required color strength can be achieved by less quantity of

homopaste dispersion than conventional dispersions. This implies that
the amount of additions to the coating or paint for the standard color is
m i ni m a l .

All homopastes are fully dispersed and need only to be stirred to

achieve full color strength. Energy costs for additional grinding are
completely eliminated as grinding is not required or recommended.
Homopastes are completely miscible with each other and may be

used in various proportions to achieve numerous shades.
Finally, high pigment loading implies fewer containers, less

handling and storage area.

TRANSPORTATION.
This range of performance, heavy metal free pigments

complements the SudadurTM range of traditional inorganic colors. It
offers exceptional choice while formulating the recognized bright solid

This range of SudadurTM traditional organic pigments

complements Sudarshan’s SudapermTM, SudafastTM, and
SudacolorTM organic pigment range and made Sudarshan a leading

specialty and performance colors. SudadurTM finds application in
agricultural, construction and earthmoving Coatings, ceramics and
glass, and plastics.

can be supplied on request, by contacting the nearest sales office.
SudadurTM Cadmium and Iron oxide pigments are not classified

as hazardous for packaging under CONEG and 94/62/EU. Neither are
they classified as special waste.
SudadurTM chrome pigments are carefully processed to ensure

that acid extractable metal levels are controlled to below 5%.
