Content
: This module will investigate the following concepts within geotechnical
engineering:
Foundations - shallow bearing & deep piled
Retaining Walls Embedded
Reinforced Soils
Embankments
Embankment Dams
Education Aims : To provide a description of some major techniques in geotechnical
engineering together with methods of analysis & design for each
