How to use Minolta Address Book Utility

Installation
Double click on the abu.exe to start the Address book utility. Then, you can see
the main window (Figure 1).

Add device
Before using this utility, please prepare the e-mail address list that you want to import to
the device. Please export users address list from Lotus Notes as !" file format.
1. elect !De"ice# $% !Add De"ice# menu (Figure &). Following 'age a''ears.

Default setting configuration
%efault setting configure ration is default parameter for each destination. &ou can change
the default parameter 'y P!L. &ou can configure the ompression setting and (ile
(ormat !etting)

window is dis'layed.
&. elect ()DF- or (T0FF- as de1ault 1ormat 1or e$mail address destination.

,Note- .f there are same names 'etween for e-mail and for fax, /ddress 'oo0 utility
automatically changes the name appears on the list as 1 (23334 for fax).

&ou can assign $99 hundred destinations as :ne 6ouch from the a''reviation list.
1. A1ter you ha"e edited the abbre"iated list, 'lease select (.ext :utton-.
Following Menu a''ears (ee Figure. ?). 0n the right side box, you can see
the address list that you modi1ied.
&. elect the 0ndex number you want to assign the destinations (ee Figure 1,).
*. elect the addresses to be assigned in the right side address list (ee Figure
1,).
5. elect the !Add# button to assign the addresses to the 7ne Touch destination.

5. elect !modi1y )assword# button to set the 'assword to the utility.
+. elect !end to De"ice# to u'load the address 1ile to the de"ice.
9. Ahen (waiting cursor- is disa''eared, address u'load is com'leted.
[Caution!!]
/fter you select <!end to %evice= 'utton, 1waiting cursor4 is appearing.
During the cursor is waiting cursor; please never close the application
by force. It takes about 3 minutes.
