speaking about his work and launching the Heffers Christmas Giving Tree

Friday 21st November - Come and meet Birgitta Sif and Marta Alts, creators of
award-winning picturebooks
Saturday 22nd November - Childrens art workshop with best-selling
picturebook-makers, Elys Dolan and Courtney Dicmas

THREE NEW TALENTS
Anglia MA graduates, Victoria Turnbull, Simona Ciraolo
and Carolina Rabei sign copies of their debut picturebooks,
respectively: Sea Tiger (Templar Publishing), Hug Me (Flying
Eye books) and Snow (Faber Childrens Books). Followed by
unveiling of the new illustrated panels for the shop exterior,
designed by MA students.

Wednesday 19th November at 3pm


AXEL SCHEFFLER AND GIVING TREE LAUNCH
World famous Gruffalo illustrator, Axel Scheffler speaking
about his work.

Followed by:
6pm, Heffers Childrens Bookshop, Trinity Street

Axel Scheffler will sign copies of his books and launch the
Heffers Christmas Giving Tree.
Heffers are working with East Anglia Childrens Hospice
(EACH) to give Christmas presents for children less fortunate
than most.

CHILDRENS ART WORKSHOP
Childrens art workshop with best-selling picturebook-makers,
Elys Dolan and Courtney Dicmas, (two of Anglia Ruskins
celebrated MA Childrens Book Illustration graduates). Come
and see illustrators in action at Heffers Childrens and take
part in a childrens drawing and colouring event to celebrate
our love of books.
