UAEFIDIC2014 Paper Submission Dates and Guidelines

A. Important Dates for Authors

The UAEFIDIC 2014 submissions website is open from 26 October 2014 12 November
2014.All submission types (completed papers & regional case study, & developments in
arbitration framework) must adhere to the submission guidelines outlined in this document.
No submissions will be accepted after the deadline. Submissions can only be done online
through the submission system on the website. Please note that this is a strict deadline; there
will be no extensions granted either as a whole or to individual submitters.
B. General Submission Requirements
Language:
English is the language of the conference and of all submissions.
Review Process:
All submissions will be pre-screened for conformity with submission guidelines and for
overall appropriateness for the conference. Papers that pass the initial screening processes
will be double-blind reviewed.
Publication of proceedings:
All submissions for presentation at UAE FIDIC 2014 will be published in the conference
book.
Copyright:
Copyright is retained by the authors. By submitting the final paper to the conference
organizers, the authors agree to allow the conference organizers to have nonexclusive use of
the material for publication in the various modalities of the conference proceedings and other
publications.
Abstract & Papers Submission(Template/Formatting)
Authors are kindly requested to follow the guidelines, described below:

Papers should be submitted in Windows-based Microsoft Word (.doc)

Abstract should be approximately 10-20 lines (approximately 200 words and suggested to
be typed in 12 point Arial font.
Full Paper should be within 12 pages (less than 6000 words)
A4-size (210x297mm) with Margins of 3.5 cm (top & bottom), 3 cm (right & left) and
double-spaced.
All papers should be composed of:
- Title, preferably written in 14 point Arial font, lower case, single-spaced and bold,
- Author Name, preferably in 12 point Arial font
- Affiliation (preferably in 12 point Arial font)
- Email (preferably in 12 point Arial font)
- Body (preferably in 12 point Arial font)

- Quotations (preferably in 11 point Arial font)

- Endnotes (preferably in 12 point Arial font)
- References (preferably in 12 point Arial font)
A selection of 3-5 different professional quality digital images (if applicable)
withMinimum resolution of 300 dpi (highest quality camera setting), Image size no
smaller than A4, Format: jpeg or tiff (Entrants are responsible for the quality of all
images. These images will be used for the publication of Conference Book)
