DISGRACED VICTORIAN LEGAL SERVICES REGULATOR TOLD TO RESIGN

1. I attach for your informations a copy of my letter addressed to Ms Victoria Marles, in stero (according to her
expressed wishes) as derelict Legal Services Commissioner and derelict Chief Executive of the Legal
Services Board for this State.
2. These materials include copies of three of her 13 letters to me, received yesterday. These materials include
copies of the Victorian State Ombudsman's damning report on this woman (as per his Annual Report 2008-
09). These materials also include copies of the Federal Attorney General's damning criticism of the Victorian
(and Australian) legal profession – a result of 5 years of dereliction or regulation by this woman. These
materials include copies of my letters this week to my local Federal Member of Parliament, Deputy Prime
Minister Julia Gillard, and to the Federal Attorney-General.
3. How is it that the Attorney-General did not act decisively on the State Ombudsman's report as soon as it was
release – if not, earlier.
4. No matter how well connected Ms Marles happens to be in political and legal circles, I demand that
the Attorney-General must act forthwith pursuant to section 6.3.9(2) of the Legal Practice Act and
remove this woman from her office/s under the Act.
5. I also demand the Government's support for a Corruption and Misconduct Commission of
investigation into the activities of the Legal Services Commissioner / Board over the past 5 years. This

 should begin with priority of investigating all of the 95 complaints the Victorian State Ombudsman received
during 2008-09, and with particular immediacy given to one of those 95 complaints – namely mine.
6. I also call on the Government to ensure legal aid funding for my legal proceedings (that is, to match, dollar
for dollar the millions of dollars being spent by the Victorian Government, via another part of this rogue
lawyer protectionist Government oligarchy, the Legal Practitioners Liability (EVASION) Committee, with its 8
Government funded lawyers to fund 4 rogue 'sharks with wigs' lawyers).
7. Surely your Government sees the political peril, now that the 'sharks with wigs' have been outed by the
Federal Attorney-General, to continue to put a blind eye to this Government funded corruption by a
privileged few corrupt lawyers.
8. Obviously, it is only a small percentage of lawyers who deserve the 'sharks with wigs' title that by their
actions is too readily thrown upon all 25,000 of the State's lawyers. And of these, it is only a small minority,
almost exculsively I would judge, swimming and feeding predominantly in the family law courts that warrant
serious criminal investigation. For many, re-education, rather than imprisonment is all the antidote that may
be required.
9. I await the Government's response to these demands for action and my request for personal support. Just
as I still await the Attorney-General's response to my 28 August 2009 Notice of 32 human rights violations
under the Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities Act.
10. I call on the Victorian Government to being the long and painful healing and compensation process.
11. Via an Independent Corruption and Misconduct Commission I call on the Government to show
leadership by giving priority to protecting the basic human and civil rights of ordinary Victorians, by
dismantling these self-interested Government statutory oligarchs (the Legal Services Board, the Legal
Services Commissioner, the Legal Practitioners Liability (EVASION) Committee, and substantial
restructuring of other allied oligarchs, such as Victoria Legal Aid and all sorts of ancient privileges and
practices applied by the Bar Council, the Law Institute, the Supreme Court and other lesser Courts) that see
it as their duties to protect and extend lawyers ancient, outdated and inappropriate privlieges, to protect the
powers and privileges of rogues, 'sharks with wigs' at the expense of allowing the Attorney-General's own
human rights laws to be enforced for the benefit of all Victorians.
