1. Put the rotor on the machine's pedestals in the way that rotor's journal bearings (1) were on the pedestals' rolls (adjust the pedestals' position). 2. Calibrate accelerometer and put a white mark on one of the blades of the rotor. 3. Click New rotor on the machine's screen. 4. Fill in the gaps with the rotor's name, number of the turbine wheel's blades and balancing radius according to the configuration (choose configuration). 5. Click Next. 6. Set the limit controller of the axial movement that it does not touch the rotor from both sides at the same time. 7. Having safety guard closed turn on the rotations by pressing START button on the machine's control panel. 8. Adjust the rotor rotation speed if needed by using potentiometer. 9. Wait till the end of measurement. Open the safety guard. 10. When prompted, stick a bit of plasticine nearby the blade with white mark on the radius given in the point number five. (for small rotors 0.10 ~ 0.15 g, for large rotors 0.2~0.3 ). 11. Fill in the gaps with: mass of the test weight and the number of blade (0). 12. Click Next 13. Turn the rotations on. Wait till the end of measurement. Open the safety guard. 14. When prompted Remove the test weight and put it in the second plane stick a bit of plasticine in the inner side (3) of turbine wheel (2) in front of the place were it was in first plane. 15. Fill in the gaps with: weight of the test weight and the number of blade at the angular position (0), Click Next. 16. Close the safety guard and turn on the rotations. Wait till the end of measurement. Open the safety guard. Program will automatically switch to Balancing mode. 17. Remove all test weights. 18. Turn on the rotations. Wait until the end of measurement process. 19. Grind the turbine wheel according to the program indications. Left radar represents shaft nut (2), right radar is inner part of turbine wheel (3). 20. Repeat steps 18 and 19 until the shaft & wheel is balanced. (radars are green).

Second stage balancing of a compressor wheel attached to the
balanced shaft & wheel. 1. Assamble shaft & wheel with compressor wheel, put on pedestals so rotor's journal bearings (4) are on the rolls (adjust position of the supports on the bed if needed). 2. Click New rotor. 3. Fill in the gaps with rotor's name, number of the blades of turbine wheel and radius according to the drawing of configuration (choose configuration). 4. Click Next. 5. Set the limit controller of the axial movement so it does not touch the rotor from both sides at the same time. 6. Having safety guard closed turn on the rotations by pressing START button on the machine's control panel. 7. Adjust the rotor rotation speed if needed by using potentiometer. 8. Wait till the end of measurement. Open the safety guard. 9. When prompted, stick a bit of plasticine on the inner plane of compressor wheel. (for small rotors 0.10 ~ 0.15 g, for large rotors 0.2~0.3 ). 10. Fill in the gaps with: weight of the test weight and the number of blade (0). 11. Click Next 12. Turn the rotations on. Wait till the end of measurement. Open the safety guard. 13. When prompted, remove plasticine from the inner plane of compressor wheel and stick it to the outer plane. (for small rotors 0.10 ~ 0.15 g, for large rotors 0.2~0.3 ). 14. Fill in the gaps with: mass of the test weight and number of the blade which corresponds to angular position (0). Click Next. 15. Wait till the end of measurement. Open the safety guard. Program will automatically switch to Balancing mode.
16. Remove test weights.
17. Turn on the rotations. Wait until the end of measurement process. 18. Grind the compressor wheel according to the program indications. Left radar represents inner plane of compressor wheel (2), right radar represents shaft nut plane (3). 19. Repeat steps 18 and 19 until the shaft & wheel is balanced. (radars are green)

Having finished both stages mark up
the position of compressor wheel in relation to shaft. Next install them to bearing housing and begin high-speed or medium-speed balancing.
