Established in 1987, AdvanceTec Industries
has become a global leader in the design and
manufacturing of solutions for wireless telecom,
two-way radio and thermal imaging industries. From
its fully integrated, state-of-the-art facility in Miami,
Florida, the privately-held company manufactures

The Challenge
School district in the State of Nebraska serving a community of more than 46,000
students [Fleet of 250 school buses].
As a result of the FCC Narrowbanding Mandate in 2013, the district was under a
directive to either upgrade their Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system, or look into an
alternative communications system. The district needed a cost-effective solution
that provided the convenience of push-to-talk (two-way) communication.

The Solution
Given the convenience and cost advantages of AdvanceTecs Hands-Free Vehicle
Kits, the client decided to equip their fleet of school buses with 250 kits. The kits
provided all the functionalities of LMR radios, at a fraction of the cost. They later
integrated the AdvanceCommunicator Desktop.

AdvanceCall Box System

The AdvanceCall Box is a fixed wireless indoor cellular device system
with one-touch single number dialing which requires ONLY activation
onto the wireless network; no additional phone is required. It is simple
to install or relocate, requiring only 4 screws and an AC power outlet. A
High-gain antenna (included) provides improved reception in low cellular
service areas. Currently being deployed in many locations including
banks, schools, offices and money transport vehicles. An external Yagi
antenna can be added to assist with in-building coverage issues.

The AdvanceTec Remote Speaker Microphone (RSM) is
designed for use with SONIM and Android phones, providing
amplified audio in transmission and reception through the
remote speaker/microphone. It includes an independent
control module with an internal rechargeable Lithium-Ion
battery which powers the RSM without any drain on the
handset battery.

The AdvanceTec Over-the-Ear Headset with in-line Push-toTalk mic is designed for use with Android and iOS phones.
The earpiece features a D-loop, over-the-ear design that rests

noisy environments, while allowing the user to receive calls
discreetly in low-noise settings. Unlike ear-canal earbuds, this
new design will not block hearing, which makes it unsafe under
