Q-1. Discuss comprehnsively the view of evolutionary development of Sociology as social
science with reference to the trends in sociological theory.
Q-2. Explain the motivating factors of Social Research which is objectively essential for the
scientific study of a subject matter.
Q-3. Explain the concept of structure and function with reference to social system of our
society.
Q-4. Define the salient features of social disorganization; distinguish between social
organization and disorganization. How you define the type of social disorganization?
Q-5. Define the concept of social problem and give some criteria for calling situation to be
social problem, by using this criterion prove that poverty is a social problem of Pakistan.
Q-6. Why does destructive obedience take place due to the lack of socialization? Suggest
some steps to reduce the destructive obedience.
Q-7. Give comprehensive review of organized programme of community development being
carried in various urban centres of Pakistan.
Q-8. Can we stop the criminality altogether from the human society? Discuss and evaluate
your answer with preventive measures.
Q-9. Write short notes on any two of the following:
(i) Role of Heridity and environment in the development of personality.
(ii) Impact of Urbanization on ecological Problem.
(iii) Strategies for controlling and reducing Prejudice and discrimination in our society.
