When and where to meet for the tour

We meet at the south end of the Ponte alle Grazie bridge at
9:30 AM. This is the next bridge east/up river from the Ponte
Vecchio.

BIKE TOURS IN TUSCANY
Grand Tuscan Villa and Wine Tour
(25 km/15 miles, level 2 ride)
This complete bike ride shows our guests the best Tuscany
has to offer: Panoramic views of rolling Tuscan hills, vast
olive groves, and a visit to a 17th c. villa. The tour
includes a relaxing lunch with superb Chianti wine, and is
ideal for those who would like to see the beauty of the
Tuscan countryside while enjoying a leisurely bike ride.
Lazy Sunday Downhill Tour
(25 km/15 miles, level 1 ride)
This is the tour for those who want to enjoy the beauty of
Tuscany while exerting a minimal amount of effort. The
ride begins at a 13th c. monastery with unsurpassed views
of the Tuscan landscape. After a gentle downhill ride
through slowly gliding terraces of vineyards and olive
groves, we come to a picturesque view of Florence from
the quaint hill town of Fiesole. The day concludes in the
way any lazy day should, great Italian food and vino!
3-Day Tour
(20-50 km/12-30 miles per day, level 3 ride)
If you have a few days to spend in Tuscany and enjoy bike
riding, we have created a private, on request tour with
you in mind. This is a three day tour beginning in Florence
and ending near Siena in the magnificent Orcia Valley.
This tour includes visits to the traditional Tuscan hill
towns of Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, and San
Quirico. While we have a full and enjoyable tour planned
for these three days, we are happy to tailor the tour to
your interests. We can suggest a visit to a monastery,
natural hot springs, golf, hiking or shopping and dining in
one of the small hilltop villages. This tour will be
customized to your needs. How about enjoying a cold
drink in the Jacuzzi after a long day of cycling, or why
not treating yourself to a massage? We can make this
happen!
Private Tour
Any of the tours can be customized on request or a
unique tour can be designed to fit your interests and
needs. Contact us for prices and availability.
Our bikes
We ride high quality, 24-speed Italian touring bikes with
cushioned seats which help you enjoy the ride the entire
day.
Level of difficulty
Level 1 ride: Minimal physical exertion is required
Level 2 ride: More physically challenging, yet still for
beginners
Level 3 ride: A level 2 ride for multiple days
Group size
To ensure your comfort and safety, we guarantee no more
than 15 people per tour. Our minimum group size is 2
people.
Tour schedule
We operate March – November, 7 days a week. The Grand
Tuscan Villa and Wine Tour is available Monday – Saturday.
The Lazy Sunday Downhill Tour is available Sundays only.
The 3-Day Tour is available upon request.
Reservations
Single day tours are not necessary to book ahead, i.e. one
can simply show up at our meeting point a little before
9:30 in the morning. However, to be sure to get on the
tour of your choice, we recommend you contact us well
ahead to make your reservation. Single day tours are
discounted 10% if paid in full up to 30 days before the
tour date.
The 3-Day Tour requires a 20% deposit at the time the
reservation is made, and full payment no less than 14
days before the tour date.
