Business Plan Competition

DESCRIPTION
CONCOCT is the annual Business Plan Competition at FORE School of Management
conceptualized with a vision of providing budding entrepreneurs a platform to showcase
their business ideas. It is designed to give the enthusiasts a platform to present the feasibility
of their entrepreneurial dreams.
Over the years, we have seen high participation from colleges across India. The event has
also undergone various changes to keep up with the changing times and to provide the best
platform to the teams participating.The event comprises of two rounds and the first round
is an elimination round:
Round1
This will be an online round where each participating Team must submit an Executive
Summary in a pdf format of not more than two pages (excluding cover page). The
summary should be specific and should cover the following points.
Business overview
Strategy of execution
Market opportunity
Competitors analysis
Organization structure
Financials.
Round2 (B-Plan Presentation)
This will be the final round of CONCOCT to be held at FORE School of Management.
Top10 teams will be selected. Each team will present its Business Plan in front of an
esteemed panel of judges.
The top 2 teams will be awarded prizes along with winners certificates.
Participation certificates will be given to all the final 10 teams who present their Business
Plan during Genesis14.
The Winners shall be decided on the basis of:
Uniqueness of Idea
Market Research
Operational Plan
Marketing Plan
The Financial Plan
Implementation and risk mitigation
Attractiveness to investors.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

A. Team Formation
1. The Team can be represented by a minimum 1 member and maximum 5 members, from
the same Institute
2. All the team members must be from the same College.
3. There is no restriction on the number of teams from an institute.
4. The contest is open to all students who are currently pursuing a Post Graduate Program.
5. The decisions of the organizers will be final and binding on all the participants.
B. Registration and Submission
1 . Registered teams are required to submit a soft copy of their executive summary for

Round 1 by Wednesday,12th November 2014, 23:59:59 at ced@fsm.ac.in

2. The Subject of The Mail should be: Concoct_CollegeName_TeamName
3. The executive summary must be named: Concoct_CollegeName_TeamName
4. The cover page of the summary should include the College Name, Team Name as well
as the contact details of all team members as well course being pursued.
5. Once the entry is submitted, no changes are allowed either in the document sent or in the
team composition
6. Only those teams shall be successfully registered who send the executive summary after
online registration.
7. The decision of the organizers shall be final and binding on all contestants.
