Sir:
First, I want to thank you and your good office for accommodating my e-mail and I sincerely
apologize for my late response.
I want to verify some information you have mentioned:
Does the 8-12% moisture content you have mentioned is for the moisture content of the raw
materials (coconut peat & coconut fiber) alone? Or it is the recommended moisture content of
the fiberboard? If it is for the raw materials alone, what must be moisture content of the
fiberboard?
When will the hot press machine be available? Will it be available by the month of December
and January?
Your kind response is deeply appreciated. Thank you very much and may God bless you.
Sincerely Yours.

Sir:
As a greeting, I, Mark Angel Sampag, would wish you a good day and sincerely giving my
regards to you and your good office for attention to this e-mail.
Our project consist the study the production of a composite tile which consist of Bamboo as the
top surface while recycled HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) as the matting. As a requirement,
it is our duty to gather necessary information to prove the reliability of our project study and for
this matter, we are humbly asking for assistance.
From our first visit to the institute, the personnel presented us a product Bamboo Veneer that
could present a potential to our research. We are requesting that you could provide additional
information from this product.
Also, it is possible for us to produce the product within the institute? The process requires the
recycling and mixture of collected plastic caps that were reduced to bits with the mixture of
Abaca fibers of about 40 mm in length. The process will include heat enough to melt the mixture
to reform into desired shape. The recycling process should end with the production of 8 inches
(200 mm) square tile that will serve as the matting.
A property of our product is to be flexible. To reach this, the tile should be made thin as possible
and because of this we are concerned on the possible thickness that could be produced.
The tile is composed of two layers: The upper layer will be the Bamboo Veneer and matting will
be the lower layer. The two layers will be joined by adhesive. Your personnel suggest that we
could use the Polyurethane as the adhesive, we would be pleased if you could share your thought
on this and could provide us more practical alternative.
This will be the scope of our project study that would require the assistance of the good institute.
Your kind response will be deeply appreciated. Thank you very much and may God bless you.

Sincerely Yours.

We are interested for additional information from the product Bamboo Veneer that was
presented to us.
Also, if it is possible for you to suggest an effective adhesive for Plastic and Wood
It is possible to produce a tile with you?
