Face Profiling
In order to create save and efficient blasts it is essential to perform blast planning. geo-konzept offers
various manual and automatic face profiling systems. These systems help you to collect information for an
ideal blast.
Hole Deviation Survey
But not only the rockface is a critical parameter for a successful blast: Hole Deviation can create huge differences in the explosive energy distribution and can cause fly rock. Therefore geo-konzept offers comprehensive solutions for measuring hole deviation.
GPS/GNSS Survey
GPS/GNSS systems allow you to perform the stake-out of a drill pattern in a very short time. A single person is able to accurately perform the stake-out and collect information about the real collaring position.

Blast design solutions

2d Basic System
Reliable components
The easy to use handheld laser allows you to
shoot a profile. Profile data is stored and displayed on an ultra-rugged handheld device - ideally suited for the use in a quarry.

Entry-level solution
The 2D Basic system is a low priced entry-level solution to face profiling. High measurement accuracy and
ease of use make it an ideal tool for every blaster!
Upgradable
2D Basic system can be upgraded to a full manual 3D
system. All components like software, handheld laser
and ultra-rugged handheld device can further be
used - save your investments!

3d fastscan profiler
automatic 3D system
The 3D FastScan Profiler is a fully automated laser
scanner. The laser-class 1M eyesafe laser creates a
very accurate and dense 3D model of the rock face.
Fast and accurate
Up to 200 points per second - with an accuracy of
better than 2,5cm! This system gives you the accuracy you need and even more!

Easy to use
The modular design allows for various upgrade
possibilities. The data logger can also be used with
the hole deviation measurement probe or a GPS/
GNSS system.

Pulsar Bl asthole Probe Mk3

Hole deviation measurement
The blasthole probe Mk3 is a lightweight and compact hole probe for hole deviation measurement.
Within a very short time you can determine the 3D
path of a hole.
Complete documentation
Immediately after the survey of a hole you get all
necessary information about the hole: length, 3D
path, deviations to the planned hole, ...
The integration of this dataset with a face scan gives
you maximum information and safety.
Underground version
For small diameter holes (>35mm) the MicroProbe
Mk3 is available. It offers the same specifications
and ease of use as the Blasthole Probe Mk3.

GNSS Survey
Fast and accurate
Performing a stake-out of the hole positions with a
GNSS system gives you maximum accuracy: every
hole is placed at the correct location and the collected information can be used to update the design
model.

Additional possibilities
By using GNSS sytems you can collect more information which may be useful for quarry/mine
management, e.g. update your mine maps, setup
permanent reference stations, survey vibration measurement systems,...

3D Fastscan Profiler

Dieter Duda,
Wager-Fischer Schotterwerke in Bhmenkirch is
successfully using the 2D system.

Dipl.-Ing. Ulrich Mann, SSE Deutschland GmbH in Ehrenfriedersdorf, is using the 3D Fastscan Profiler since
2007. His decision: Functions and benefits are right
and the blasting result speaks for itself.
