Winter in Nova Scotia is the perfect time for recreation and there is no better sport than that of snow
shoeing. This image was taken on a visit to Ross Farm Museum in New Ross in January of 2014. The
snow shoes stuck in the snow tell the story of either resting after a trek in the snow or awaiting the eager
participant to grab them and head out for a winter adventure.
