Introduction

to DRIVE bul/etins:

DRIVE is a major project within MG Rover. It's objective is to significantly improve our competitiveness.
The purpose of a 'DRIVE' bulletin is to advise changes introduced as a result of the MG Rover 'DRIVE'
initiative. To find out more about 'DRIVE' refer to UK Dealer Communication letter 024/01 dated 17
September, 2001. In addition, an illustrated special edition of MG Rover News was issued in March 2001, a
copy of this edition can be viewed / printed from the MG Rover Connections - After Sales web site
(www.mgroverconnections.com ).
Drive Bulletins will be issued periodically as new changes are implemented. Each bulletin should be used
for information purposes only. NOTE: Certain items maya/so be of interest to areas in addition to service,
i.e. Sales, Parts or Warranty, please circulate as appropriate.

Each bulletin issue will include brief details of recently issued DRIVE items. Occasionally, certain DRIVE
implementations will require a more detailed description, in such instances a separate Technical Bulletin will
be issued.
