The linear plan brings people in from the road and directs them
towards Brion Cemetery and the Alps beyond. Many details are
interpretations of the Brion Cemeterys.
Brion Cemetery

This pavilion was set into the slope of the Citadel city park in
Halifax, NS. A sheltered sitting area taking in the view of Halifax
from the hill and a small sculpture garden form the interiors of
this tunnel, extending from within the earth out to the light.
Lamp
12
The lamp was designed and built as an exploration of the concepts of hearth, structure and envelope, as well as as a practical
application of detailed planning for construction.
