Friends of Animals, counsel for Rags Over the Arkansas River, Inc., appeals to the
Unites States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit the final judgment of the District Court
for the District of Colorado entered in the above captioned case on January 8, 2015.
The Order (ECF 68) and final judgment (ECF 69) entered in favor of the Defendants,
found that the U.S. Bureau of Land Managements approval of the Over the River Project, a
massive art project to be constructed within the Arkansas Headwaters National Recreation
Area between Canon City and Salida, Colorado, by the artist Christo, was not in violation of
the Federal Land Management Act and National Environmental Policy Act.
