Autopower 2.1.0 Maintenance Release

August 1, 1996
Improved data collection and display procedure to support international data format.
Fixed problem which previously output garbage in report when project name starts with numbers.
Fixed bug in displaying number of sea inlets in report.
Standardized splash screen.
Implemented new spreadsheet based report engine.
Fixed lock check to work with Far East Windows 95.
Debugged and improved Edit menu for column copy functionality.
Modified time string checking for different languages rather than English.

Improvements
- clearing a single column of data in input grid is available
- clearing report within the application is available
- project saved with an empty project-name can also be retrieved
- whole program is re-compiled and tested, and compatible with Windows 95, Windows
NT, and Windows 3.1
Other corrections and improvements:
Resistance Module:
Pop up outside range message when selected speed range doesn't overlap the valid range for a
specific method.
Prompt user input LCG value measured from transom for planning type.
Omit resistance results outside valid range.
Corrected conversion factor from Rt to Pe for Compton method.
Check sign of variable before it is used in square root.
Fixed unit conversion errors.
Renew filename when "Save as" command is executed.
Keep Froude number consistent in different unit systems.
Check interval speed to ensure it is not too small comparing to the calculating speed range.
Deleted orphan subroutines and unused variables and controls. Removed duplicated codes.
Propeller/Propulsion Module:
Modified codes to retain propeller parameters input by user.
Revised data-to-text conversion codes to ensure correct output in report.
Locate graph form in the center of screen.
Corrected codes to keep data unchanged in input grid when using imperial unit.
Fixed error in output routine to produce correct total resistance when average resistance method
is selected for propulsion calculation.
Debugged codes to ensure that unit is also copied when executing copy column command.
Reset cursor style to normal after click Cancel in Power Plant calculation.
Fixed unit conversion errors in propeller/propulsion calculation.

Remove temporary file created by the program after user exit the application or open a new
project.
Use LWL instead of Project name as control variable to retrieve project data from disk.
Improved security features.
Revised and recompiled the online Help file.
Use independent initial file APWR.INI in local directory instead of COAST.INI
