$10.00 per hour thereafter.
Training sessions are 1 hour in length and can be
tailored to a program or topic of your choice.
Appointments are available Monday, Wednesday
and Friday afternoons.

From Tots to Teens


Baby Story Time
Tuesday, February 3, 10 & 17 from 9:30 - 10:00 a.m.
This is a six-week program for babies ages 4 18 months and their caregivers.
Have fun with your baby with music, rhymes, bounces and tickles.
Please bring a blanket and pre-register for this program as spaces are limited.
Homeschoolers Story Time
Tuesday, February 3, 10 & 17 from 11:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
We have developed an innovative weekly program for homeschoolers. Each session
consists of a story time that relates to the theme for the day, songs and a craft.
It is designed to meet the needs of children from ages 4 - 13.
Please pre-register for this program as spaces are limited.
Preschool Story Time for Ages 2 - 4
Thursday, February 5 & 12 from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m.
A six-week program of stories, songs, activities and crafts. Each child must
be accompanied by their parent/caregiver. Please pre-register as there are a
limited number of spaces available.
This sessions theme: In Flight
Lego @ Your Library
Thursday, February 5 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
Children of all ages can drop-in to build a LEGO or DUPLO creation.
Please do not bring your own LEGOs.
Port Colborne/Wainfleet Family Literacy Event
Saturday, February 7 from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.
at the Port Colborne YMCA Vale Centre
Stop in and support your library while discovering more about nature through literacy.
Valentines Day Craft (Public School Early Release Day)
Friday, February 13 at 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Come to the library to create some Valentines Day Crafts. We'll have supplies and
friendly faces to help you out. "Kids" of all ages welcome! Please pre-register by
Friday, February 6 as space is limited.

Ontario Office Works Self-Employment Benefit Program
Thursday, February 19 at 6:00 p.m.
Thinking About Self Employment? Want to know the pros and cons?
How do you get started? And what help is available? Ontario Office Works Inc.
is presenting a look at the opportunities for small business start-up in the Niagara area.
Get answers to questions you have about being in business for yourself. Learn about the
myths and realities of being your own boss. Find out what assistance is available to help you
get started.
Ontario Office Works Inc. coordinates the Ontario Self Employment Benefit Program
(OSEB) for Employment Ontario and the Self Employment Development Program (SED) for
the Niagara Region. They have been helping people become self-employed since 1995.
