The original company BELMONT NDT UK was set up at Leeds UK for Non-Destructive
Testing in 1985.
Belmont Asia was established in 2000 for the MENA and Asia Region, in applying Non
Destructive methods in industry and providing solutions to a wide range of quality
related problems.

Vendor Inspection, often termed Third Party Inspection or Source Inspection, is carried out
on behalf of clients who require assurance that their supplies are carrying out their processes
in accordance with the contractual requirements.

The client may require Vendor Inspection because he is either remote from the supplier or he
does not have the resource or the expertise to carry out the task himself.


The need of Vendor Inspection can be assessed by consideration of the following points.

Does the quality depend on certain operations that cannot be assessed at the final
Inspection, such as internal Inspection, heat treatment, and material verification and weld
process control?

Are the products parts of a critical application, in term of Health and Safety, Environment
and Performance?

Would defects found on receipt have an impact on the overall timescale of the project?

On-site testing

We have engineers that can carry out on site testing of lifting equipment and permanently fixed
structures. For example Runway beams and Swing arm Jibs.
On site inspections

A complete on site inspection service carried out by experienced engineers with the minimum
disruption to your work schedule. We color code the equipment so that your staff will be confident in
the knowledge that the equipment has been recently inspected. The customer is provided with a
detailed report confirming the condition of the equipment and also when it is next due for inspection.
