Now answer these questions PTO

How many of the marks that you lost were wasted foolishly because you hadnt revised
sufficiently? Include in this group:
Parts of any question which asked you to identify some basic facts, definitions
or knowledge.
Failure to use an equation even though it was in the equation booklet
Use of incorrect units or forgetting to write units.
How many of the marks you lost were because you didnt understand the theory when
it was taught.

There are several different question types in this test:

Recall - e.g. show knowledge of typical data, definitions, specialist vocabulary

and experimental methods.
Calculations - e.g. using an equation to calculate a quantity
Calculations involving ratios e.g. What happens to g when M is doubled
and r is halved?
Interpretation/translation - e.g. data presented in a graphical form may need
to be processed in some way)
Application of knowledge - e.g. state the conclusions from the outcome of an
experiment or explain/describe a situation.

The questions I found most challenging were..

What could you do specifically in this paper to gain the extra marks you need?
e.g. Practicing ratio style questions.

How are you going to revise differently for the next progress test?
