Lithium ion batteries has some obvious advantages

compared to traditional lead batteries. A lithium ion
battery is very powerful. More energy are available than
in other battery technologies. The lithium technology
permits that a battery can be charged extremely fast.
The 100Ah - 12VDC lithium ion battery can be charged
in only one hour.

The lithium battery packs has a very long lifetime,
amazing 3000 cycles, or up to 15 years of full durability.
The lithium ion batteries are also very light, lithium ion
weighs only 1/3 of traditional lead batteries.
All lithium ion batteries from Clayton Power has an
integrated Battery Management System (BMS).
The BMS contains of a MOSFET based safety breaker,
for safe and reliable use. Just plugnplay.
A lithium ion battery pack of 12VDC or 24VDC - is built
with individual lithium cells and it is a necessity that
each single cell has the same voltage, otherwise the
lithium ion battery will awry and the cells die. If the cells
get out of balance the integrated Battery Management
System (BMS) will automatically cell balance them back
during both charge, discharge and in idle mode.
The temperature of the lithium ion cells are also
monitored by the BMS.
