Significance of Study

The following entities will benefit from this study are students, parents, professors, future
researchers, researchers.
Student/s. Through the help with this research students will be able to know the reason why
some of them dont usually go to Library. Any improvement of UCLM Library management
technique can pave the way of producing better learning and discipline.
Parents. Through this study the parents will know if their son/daughter will go to library. As
parents enrolled their children in UCLM, comes with an self-assurance that their children are
given the good instrument of learning that would make them successful one.
Professors. Through this study, professors will be able to know the percentage of his/her
students on how seldom they go to the library. Through this research, teachers may purposefully
discover how library management is conductive to learning.
Researchers. Through this study, researchers will help them to accumulate different activities
that molds on how the solution will process.
Future Researchers. The outcome of the study is beneficial to the future researchers. This study
may be one of the basis that a new theory in learning will use.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Research Design
This study will utilize the descriptive survey method of research. The descriptive research
will seek to determine on the reasons why students of UCLM (title nnyu) through the survey
method.
Research Environment
School Library is located inside the University of Cebu Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue Campus
specifically in the 2nd floor of new building
Research Participants
The respondents of the study are the number of students from University of Cebu Lapulapu and Mandaue that are currently enrolled in this semester of the school year 2014 2015.
Research Instrument
This study utilizes the questionnaires as the main instrument or data collection. The
researchers used structured type of questionnaires that will be answered according to (Title
nnyu). The instrument contains with different factors that are answerable with a rate from 5 to 1
where the respondents can choose and express their feelings.

Research Procedure
The researchers will ask permission from the school librarian of the University of Cebu
Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue to conduct research. Once the permission is approved the survey
questionnaire will be disseminated to the targeted respondents.

Electronic Services - An electronic facility that can scope the needs of the students in
researching.
Librarian A professional person trained in library science and engaged in the duty that relates
to library services.
Physical Facilities Something designed and created to serve a particular function and to afford
a particular convenience or service.
Proximity The property of being close together, the region close around a person or thing.
Study habits is the act of managing time to make as an instrument for acquiring additional
knowledge , and make it as a part of daily routine.
Time management is the act or process of planning and exercising conscious control over the
amount of time spent on specific activities, especially to increase effectiveness, efficiency or
productivity. Time management may be aided by a range of skills, tools, and techniques used to
manage time when accomplishing specific tasks, projects, and goals complying with a due date.
