Major Area of Excavation (With Working Space 300mm)

Phase-1(A,B,C&D), Phase-2(E,F,G&H)
1. Tower Area Footings
2. Podium Area Footings.
3. UG sump/STP.
4. Retaining Wall.
5. Grade Slab.

DETAIL ACTION
PLAN:
1. Layout and marking of foundation/ structure shall be done as per co-ordinates and shown in
GFC drawing.
2. Joint record for existing ground level of marked area shall be taken prior to start of excavation
from permanent established benchmark duly certified by Engineer in charge.

3. Earthwork in excavation shall be executed by Mechanical Excavator / manual as per site

condition. Foundation pits/ trenches shall not be excavated to the full depth under construction.
4. The last 15cm depth of the excavation shall not be done until concreting work is imminent.
5. If Hard rock is fond the JMR has to be Taken.
6. Any obstacle encountered during excavation shall be reported immediately to the Engineer
in charge and shall be dealt with as instructed by him.
7. Removal of buried pipes or cables shall not be done without prior permission of Engineer in
charge and the same be protected considering safety measures.
8.Necessary arrangements for lighting, fencing and suitable measures for protection against risk
of accident due to open excavation must be done carefully.
9. During excavation special care is to be taken of underground power cable and Pipelines as per
their layout scheme.

EXCAVATED SOIL HANDLING:

1. Tower and Podium Area to be Disposed outside.
2. Retaining Wall used for Back Filling.

TOOLS USED:
1. Excavator.
2. Tipper.
3. Tractor.
4. JCB.
5. Breaker.
6. Tractor Compressor Breaker.

CONCLUSION:
1. Check List Kept Ready for PCC with all approval.
